This is a good remote for quick pictures. I do wish that it had a little more flexibility for timed shots, but overall I am happy with it.

Seemed to work as expected. We didnt use it much in the end though. Camera timer is just as easy to set and one less piece of equipment to hold onto. Seemed to have decent range though.

No issues with range or compatibility. Better option than the Nikon manufactured option. I could not find which models this was compatible with - took a chance and worked just fine.

It may have to do with my Nikon D810, but I guess only so many Nikon models can handle a cheap shutter remote.

Does exactly what it is intended for. The mode on the camera the shutter controller uses does turn off if not used for a minute or so, but thats my camera and may differ for other models. Sufficient knowledge of your camera is helpful in setting up the controller since the device itself does not come with much instruction.
