Used with Nikon D3300
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This remote shutter release works fine with my Nikon D3300 DSLR. It is an infra-red signal and the receiver is on the back of the camera, so it works best from the side or behind. I used it to take pictures of fire works on 4th of July with the camera mounted on a tripod.

Good Purchase - Does its job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wireless shutter remote is very reliable and it works the way it is supposed to. Sometimes I have to press it a few times for it to take the picture which is annoying, other than that its OK.

Avoid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to use with a Nikon DSLR. Worked fine for about 2 weeks and then started sending two rapid shutter release signals when the button was pressed. The second time it happened, the shutter on my camera jammed. I have had to send the camera back to Nikon to see if it's fixable. It was a new camera. By saving a few bucks on this rubbish remote, I probably will end up needing a new camera. I know...my own d##n fault.
