Unboxing is straightforward: in the box you'll find the garbage disposal with an attached power cord, the instructions, and all the included hardware (screws, snap ring, wrench, discharge tube, flange, bolts, gasket, stopper, etc.) The Badger model sits in the middle of InSinkerator's lineup being a part of the power series. The grindability is a step above the standard series utilizing the Power Grind for tough foods scraps like peach pits. The grinder is still only a single stage, so it’s not recommended to use on tougher food scraps like chicken or beef bones. InSinkerator leads the market in garbage disposals being the largest manufacturer and most common brand found in homes. The installation is dead simple utilizing the genius twist lock system. You simply twist the garbage disposal onto it’s mount, connect the drain and optional dishwasher drain hose, and plug it in. The install couldn’t be easier. Once you’re up and running, you’ll find the continuous feed ¾ HP Motor has more than enough power to eat all the food in its path. While it’s not silent, it’s quieter than any other garbage disposal I’ve heard or used.
