Overall pleased with the disposal. I do wish it was a bit quieter. It works well and I haven’t encountered any issues.

total tech free install. My old one was 10 years old, decided before it stopped would replace it with free install

is smaller than the previous 3/4 HP model i had was. Sounds a little quilter.

So far so good on the product. Install crew was great. They had to come back but we figured out what was needed to complete.

I think this is one of the best disposal. I am satisfied with this product.

Bought the best, and I have had other insink food disposal before so I went with the same and a powerful choice. Have not had it installed still working on kitchen.

I do not know what quality was InSinkerator, but quality of installation was very poor: After two visits this unit is still leaking spoiling the cabinet's floor.

Three-quarter horsepower was a great upgrade compared to my old unit.

Old unit gave out, this one works great. Easy install.

Ok so for starters, this disposal is as easy as install gets IF you already have a sinkerator set up. Cord is already pre-installed so its basically twist out the old and plug in the new. Took me no more than 30 minutes to set it up and running. The Badger XP is powerful enough to take on the routine things we normally put down the disposal. I of course wouldnt suggest steak bones and the like, but this definately more powerful than my previous model and also runs much more quiet. I replaced a unit that was about 3 1/2 years old and was running ok, but I always found it too loud and this XP took care of the noisy disposal and also a bump up in power. It's continuous feed and was a definate upgrade. Again the attached power cord is great and very beneficial to those of us who very much plug and play it saves valuable time and provides piece of mind. Also the warranty is excellent and not a one year parts and labor. With the Badger you are covered 4 years for both parts and in-home service. Definitely recommend.

The InSinkerator Badger 5XP has been running well so far. I did call a contractor friend to help me install this device, mainly because it was my first time installing one. I did not want to mess anything up. That said, it took my friend about 20 minutes to get everything installed. I was replacing a similar unit, so there was not any additional installation tools or adapters needed. I was replaced an older unit, about 7 years old. This one is more powerful, and pretty quiet given it is a garbage disposal. It chews up just about everything you throw at it. There has been no lock ups or issues so far. I was very shocked on how quiet it is compared to my old one. At first, I thought it wasn't on fully when I first heard it. The warranty that is included is good too. Most decent garbage disposals last a while, so you may not even need to ever use the warranty. My parents' last garbage disposal lasted over 20 years! I hope this one can last about the same, and can perform consistently throughout.
