Weird concept

What happened to just buying a cartridge when you need it? I don’t print thing often and still have the ink from when I bought it but HP has charged me for I don’t even know what. The ink is great, but the forced subscription is not.

The ink cartridges last longer than the ones you purchase yourself. I printed a large number of color pages and was running out of ink more quickly than usual. Contacting HP representative was easy and they were very responsive to my issue. Normally cartridges are sent well before you need them.
