I don't print that much, and I was sent a refill before very soon after I purchased the printer and did not need it for a couple months (and only needed the black ink). After that, I kept getting emails that my printer could not be checked and that it should be left on. Well, I never turn the thing off, so it is always on standby. When I installed the first ink cartridge, I managed to print one or two things and then the printer informed me I had to sign up for instant ink (which I was already signed up for). I eventually figured out that turning the printer off then on again solved that particular problem. But the whole way this program works is basically that is does NOT work.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was just getting the printer set up and printing some of the alignment tests and so forth and I printed a few pages probably 25 of my own for my business and then it was out of ink. So most of that really falls onto the horrible printer cartridges that come with the printer on being so small. But I had Insta ink and I still run out of ink and I had to go back in and change some options and try to get it faster but no such luck. I paid for the printer I paid for the card for the service the day of the sale I had everything set up and I still ran out of ink and I thought the purpose of this was to not run out of ink and to save money in the process
