    Great chip, wish it was cheaper but can't complain. Okay deal for gaming but awesome for everything else unless you're professional.

    Using premiere pro, I need a lot of CPU power and honestly I wasn't expecting this to be able to handle 4k editing. But this thing combined with my 3070 powers through anything gaming or editing wise

    I bought this to help my girlfriend finish her computer build. I thought about going with 12th gen, but the 13th gen 13600K compared to the 12th gen has 4 more cores to it, and I feel that puts it over the edge.

    Long overdue upgrade from an 8th gen i7, and it is WILD how much of a jump it is. Don't let it "just" being an i5 fool you, this thing is an absolute beast and will easily handle any games that you throw at it

    The 13600K is a great CPU just as the previous i5's were. If all those extra threads aren't necessary for you're workload, a little tweaking will net you almost the stock performance of a 13900K for about $300 less.

    This CPU offers a ton of performance and overclocking options for the price you pay. Supporting DDR4 and DDR5 opens it up to those who want the latest stuff, and to those trying to save money. The only downside is you’ll need to make sure you get a good cooler to keep it from ketting too hot.
