Q: What would be a good motherboard to go with the i5 13600k?
A: I would say nothing less than a z690 based board. just choose a brand that has the features you like. But if you are wanting a z790 board then the best for your money is going to be the Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX (There a 2 versions, 1 that's DDR5 and the other that is DDR4)
A: The new Z-790 motherboards would be able to use this without doing a BIOS update as they are already 13th Gen ready.
Q: Does this CPU come with a cooler or do I have to buy one separately?
A: CPU cooler sold seperately.
Q: Can the Intel-core i513600k be used in an HP Omen Pc-870?
A: Greetings from the Intel team. Thank you for your question. Please contact the system or motherboard manufacturer before upgrading your desktop processor. They are familiar with your system specifications and the different upgrade options available. Make sure that the BIOS supports your new processor. A lack of BIOS support for your processor can cause the system not to boot or display.
