I got this cpu on sale for $480 if you can find it for this price jump on it. 8 core 16 thread processor running hyper threading technology is enough computing power to last you another 10 years.

The sticker shock was hard to get by, I won't lie. But out of the box this CPU is insanely fast. I upgraded to an entire new build and gave my children my old one. We are both very happy. Great job intel and bestbuy!

This Processor has helped my PC tremendously with gaming a live streaming at the same time. It Runs very smooth and i can have multiple programs open at the same time without any issues or lagging.

Excellent processor from Intel. I am using this CPU for gaming, video editing, and graphic design. No complaints with it at all. It does everything I want it to, and more.

Wow. Just built my first comp threw this inside and wow this thing is a absolute beast, ive used i7 comps before but i9s are special you wont even see them on display at best buy it really is an amazing chip!

Awesome speed and performance. I do a lot of video and multiple screen work and this handles it perfectly. No complaints after almost a year. Going strong.

Great price and good performance for a system running an 8th gen 6 core locked CPU. was able to get it on clearance for about 300$ which is not bad for an 8 core K SKU.

Was able to overclock this in my uefi to run at a steady 5ghz with a -3 offset. I would recommend using an aio for stable thermals with this card ( if you plan on overclocking it)

Drastically noticed a difference in speed especially while streaming. Handles every stress test I've thrown at it. Paired it with a NZXT Z63 cooler and haven't had any issues.

This was definitely an upgrade from my Intel core i7. Way faster boot up times, faster program launch and better FPS on all video games. This processor is awesome!

Great processor, does what I need it to. Temps are very good considering these run very hot. Might be overkill for gaming, but at least you’ll have headroom.

I used this in a new build I just did and it is amazing. Only had it for couple of week, but ... what a difference compared to my old one. I would certainly recommend using it.

the 9900K OCT-A-CORE is a GREAT PROCESSOR! However the new ryzen processor lines should not be OVERLOOKED. In many use cases rysen SMOKES intel and will suit your needs better than other Intel chips. The 9900k was KING for a LONG TIME, and still is the BEST inside motherboards that accommodate this 'aging gracefully' CHIP. Thank Goodness rysen competition has arrived! and not only competing, but actually beating INTEL in many work flows! Where 9900K still ROCKS as 'BEST' is: SINGLE CORE Performance Numbers! Until GAME BUILDERS START CODING using more CORES and Threads.... Intel will remain the single core CHAMP. SMK

I'm using this for my compute on a video editing box, and coupled with a high-end GPU and M2 storage it really gets the job done. No compatibility issues with anything and blazing fast.

This is the best CPU you can get for the money. Its nice that the Intel software will auto-overclock this model for you.

Got it in sale. It performs well and exceeds my expectations. I did not OC yet but able to run at 4.7GHz on all core at relatively low voltage of 1.125V.

I used this to build a video editing system. It's just so so fast. AMD is cheaper but Intel is faster for encoding.

Awesome upgrade from my i5, and once you throw the bios pre set overclock on it really shows what it can do.

Excellent main processing unit for a high-end pc build. Came quiet powerful with stock settings and later on tweaked to use more of its potential. I highly recommend this.

I used this processor for my daughter's build... it's quite fast out of the box and OC'd. Doesn't run hot and it's quiet the gaming monster.
