Dock for macbook

I need access to multiple ports to run my usb devices. I found this on clearance at best buy and love it. They even price matched form a cheaper price on Amazon. This dock allows me to hook up usb devices along with another usb hub to this dock. My macbook reads the devices with no lag in connection. I love it.

Thunderbolt users beware

Video works without issue. Display port works like a dream. SD cards aren't recognized when plugging this into a Thunderbolt port. When I download large files from the Internet, the Ethernet port on the dock will go offline. This happens multiple times and it's unfortunate I found out about this before I could return it. I'm sure if this were used with a USB-C port, it would work much better.

Nice docking station...

Great Dock

I travel some but needed a convenient way to attach a second monitor, external drives, LAN, keyboard and mouse. I am not the ultra high end user with 4 screens, etc., just an ordinary worker. The docking station is perfect. It does not move around on my desk when I touch a cable and had just the ports I needed. I have not noticed any reduction in speed to any devices.
