It cannot support dual monitor outputs if one of the monitors is 4K. This wasn't documented on the box that it came in. When I returned it, I noticed they'd restocked and the box had a redesign that now states this shortcoming.

I purchased this to run a dual monitor setup on my Dell laptop only to find out that i couldn’t get the unit to work with one monitor using a HDMI and the other with a DisplayPort. Had to return and pick up the dell version

Overall, this is a decent docking station. The one limitation is the lack of two HDMI for external monitors. It does have multiple ports though and works well with wireless keyboards and mice.

I use this with several computers and laptops. Being a photographer I have a need for multiple hard drives and use a variety of disks for cameras.

If you are planning on connecting a secondary monitor and charging your Mac plus adding speakers this is a must have. One down side to new Mac no USB ports. Simple one connection.

Needed more than just the limited connections my MacBook Pro offered. This docking station fit the bill. Great to be able to connect all my peripherals to my new laptop!

use this to plug up my blackmajic divice and the internet and the pa system to my mac . this is a great gadget a must have with the thunderbolt 3 apple laptop very very helpful

Bummed that my MacBook only had USB-C slots so my memory card reader didn’t work, I returned it to buy this product and absolutely love it. Very convenient and worth the price!

Nice design, make sure you know what your monitor specs are. Depending on monitors you may not be able to use both VGA and HDMI at the same time to have 2 externals .

This dock is amazing it is a must-have if you're looking for a way to use ethernet on your new Thunderbolt 3 compatible device! Highly rated company and would recommend them to anyone.

iOGear has really disappointed me on this one. I purchased many brand-new laptops from Best Buy this past month, and I was going to purchase a number of these docking stations for use in the field. All laptops are the nicest. newest models, Windows 10, all patches and updates applied. Nothing left to update. But no matter what I did, NONE of them - not Lenovo, HP, Dell - NONE of them would recognize this dock! I went to the website looking for drivers... there aren't ANY available! When I called iOGear to ask for help, they were extremely rude, said "you don't need Windows drivers, this is plug and play - obviously you don't know how to update your PC" - that, being said to me - a 38-year career in IT and a senior engineer. Great. So it was all my fault that their device wouldn't work. STAY AWAY from iOGear. Best Buy = TERRIFIC service! But iOGear - the WORST EVER.

My computer requires 65W charger. This docking station says it drops the wattage down 15 W. I bought a 90W charger - Read the fine print - It will only pass thru a MAXIMUM of 60W. That is NOT enough to power my computer. So, it works for all the connections, but I still have to plug in the computer power cord.

My husband does a lot of travel for his work and needed an easy docking station for his MacBook Pro. This one did the trick. We had tried others that did not work well.

This is a great docking station. It has all the ports necessary to turn a 12 inch notebook into a big screen monitor with separate keyboard and mouse.

Purchased this so we could use two monitors with our laptops and connect a keyboards and mouse combo with using all of the USB ports on our laptops.

For the price, this piece of equipment does what it is supposed to do. Lots of connections and having an Ethernet connection is very good.

Overall, this has been a great purchase. We wanted to use a MacBook with an older Mac computer monitor. This has been a great docking station. Would recommend.

Great device I hook my usb 3 external enclosure ssd drives and my kvm HDMI device. Also has an usb c and Ethernet

Not a fan. At first, it did not work. After exchanging it, met a Geek Squad guy who knew what was wrong. The strip had to "learn" before it worked entirely. Disappointed in it.
