The item does all that it says it should. Son says there is a slight hum when it is in use though. Would have gotten 5 stars if not for this. Wish it would also come with a USB-C power adapter so that it could charge without needing to purchase that separately.

Cannot say enough about this item. I tried a few of these items and This was the Only one that worked for all items: Monitors, Printers, Phones, Etc, Etc VERY RECOMMENDED!

This docking station works great with my Lenovo and it does not take much additional space on my desk. I rest my laptop right on top of this slim docking station.

Great dock for my laptop, easy to use a full desk setup and just have to plug in one item to have everything work and charge my laptop too.

I have an extra monitor along with other items plugged in to this.. Works great when I work from home. I would recommend to others. Complements my New mac book pro

I needed more USB ports and this docking station provided it plus more. I use it to dock my HP laptop when home. Provides docking for all my peripherals.

The docking station lets me plug in all my different devices to my Macbook Pro. I have tried other such stations before with no success. this one does the the trick.

Great product despite the frustration with needing one for new a new Mac. Multiple ports and has been working for over a year now with no issues

Docking station works well, could us another port for another monitor and the connection needs to be on the other side of the docking station for the laptop to sit correctly

It’s designed for Apple book but will work with Surface book 2. C cord could be longer but, if you turn it upside down makes a great travel companion

The new Macbook Pro only has 4 usb-c connections. Needed something so I could add other types of devices. This works great with the new Macbook

Overall good to use with a laptop and several accessories - USB NAS, keyboard, sound system, and monitor. Unfortunately, my monitors are not recognized so will investigate further so therefore a 4 star vs. 5.

Love this thing! So many places to connect all your devices at once. Highly recommend this to anyone needing pass thru power and lots of USB ports.

Perfect for use in backing up data with your own "cloud", and especially good at sorting photographic images in separate external drives. Seems to be pretty good speed, Very compact

This one can't pass through enough power to charge a 15" MBP at full capacity and it is really difficult to get multiple monitors to work, but if you need it for a 13" laptop and a single external monitor, it works great.

Works great for a 13" MacBook Pro. Delivered 4k video nicely. Highly recommended for a 13". Form factor may be a little weird for other size MacBooks.

I recently purchased a case for my computer but it covered the portal to plug my adapter into. I exchange it for this one and it works great.

Works well so far and enough connectors for me. Matches Mac well too and like that it’s slightly sloped for ease of use with laptop.

My laptop is also my desktop. The dock makes it easy to do that and also deals with the new port design of the Apple Laptop.

Absolutely necessary for the new Mac book Pros, since they only have thunderbolt 3 ports. Be sure to plug your charging/power cable into this. I believe it's called a 'pass-thru' port. Especially if you're running out of ports. One thing, my Focusrite audio interface will not work correctly plugged into the port. It must be plugged directly into the computer.
