I think it works okay. Haven't used it much because the connecting cable is too short for my needs. I would think that most people would be happy with the cord length, though

This allows me to save a lot of time and money providing me with the ability to connect many different cables and other accessories.

Gives you the ability to use one USB C connector and fan it out to multiple types of connectors that are really necessary for your Mac.

I purchased it along with a MacBook and thought it would be a good way to connect all my peripherals. So far, I cannot get it to play my external speakers through the headphone port and I cannot get it to recognize my external display. I may have to call Geek Squad to get all the ports to operate. It is the more expensive option over smaller devices but this one is more durable and stylish if that's your thing. Not sure if I'm keeping it or going with a different unit. Worth a try if you have several peripherals such as phones, cameras, and other things to charge while you're working.

i use this dock at work to connect my macbook pro to a large monitor and to use a keyboard and track pad and it works great

This docking station is a great addition to my I-Mac 27". It gives so much more flexibility when I am working on images, or video.....Extra ports for external drives and other connections.

this is outstanding and allows the little laptop to be super functional and do all the things that the many cords require

I love all the ports on it im a huge apple fan and have to do a lot of school work and this port just makes everything better.

I tried several different adaptors for my MacBook Pro and this one by far is the best! No problems with any of my needs.

Works on both Mac and Windows Computers. Very useful, a must have for the latest laptops with only C ports

After trying several docks to work with a MacBook Pro and to allow for multiple monitors, this one finally worked!

The basic issue with this product is that if you have more than one external drive plugged into the IOGEAR Ultra Slim, it disconnects both drives when you unplug either one of them. This then prompts your Mac to tell you that you unplugged your other drive(s) incorrectly, without shutting it/them down first, Etc, Etc. This situation occurs no matter how carefully or slowly you unplug a drive. All drives other drives are disconnected too.

Great addition to my Lenovo-Yoga. The computer doesn’t have any of the “extra” plugs. The ultra slim USB works great..

Works with macbook pro but can only extend monitor to have one additional screen. Will allow two screens but one must be the MacBook screen. Does not allow two screens in clamshell mode.

It says slim but it is still fairly large. The power pass through did not work initially, but started working after I reset it.

This addition has made the use of the Mac Pro so much better. Many items were not accessible, but now are, including charging my phone or easy downloads from my phone .

Gave me the ability to expand the number of devices I can connect. Enjoy the HDMI connection and USB ports.

I returned after a few days. When it worked it worked well. My issue was the connecting and disconnecting from my laptop

It is a great dock to have all the inputs and its a great buy, the only negative is the heaviest.
