I ended up returning this because it never worked the way it was supposed to; we had a laptop with an HDMI port out and this looked to be the solution, but it just didn't work on it.

This device was purchased to allow the sources (Blu Ray, Cable and streaming) in the main viewing room to be watched in a bedroom. This device does exactly that. With some switching it could be arranged such that one set showed a different source than the other.
Small, easy to place devices.
Repeats remote commands reliably.

The receiver and transmitter are unobstructed in my location. Image quality the same as if hardwired. Need to follow directions on power up procedure.

I purchased the Iogear 3D / AV wireless transmitter and receiver had problems with it immediately. My cable receiver was only about 5 feet from the wireless receiver in which it was supposed to send the signal. The only reason why I bought it was to eliminate extra wires coming from the wall outlet to give it a cleaner look.
The receiver kept losing the signal and would cause my screen to go blank for 10 seconds at a time. I would occasionally get through a program without this happening but like clock work it would scramble - pixelate my TV screen & lose service. This became annoying after awhile. I don't know why this would happen but noticed it happened more when the room temperature was high caused by a recent heatwave. I returned this product & went wireless through directTV & have not had a problem with my screen pixelating or losing signal since. Maybe a got a bad receiver but the price of almost $200 was not worth it!

Currently using this in my living room and it works great. My cable outlet is above my fireplace but I didn't want my tv there. This box is hidden behind a picture frame (along with my comcast box) the second wireless box is about 10 feet away on my entertainment center.
No audio or video issues yet

This is the perfect choice for using wifi to relay the signal of your TV in one room to another (i.e. kitchen, patio) without requiring cabling. It's perfect for a sports party with a game in the living room and the same signal in the kitchen or on the patio while people are eating.

We replaced an old wall mounted tv which didn't have hdmi cables ran. This was a great alternative to trying to run Hdmi cables.

My In wall HDMI cable shorted out, so the Geek Squad recommended this product. It works great. Good price, too!
