Great Product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product to use another TV in my gym adjacent to my bedroom. I connected the IO Gear transmitter by the directv reciever and installed the IO gear wireless receiver by the other TV. With one wall between them, the picture is very clear with very rich colors!...I haven't experienced any dropouts yet. I'm in here buying another one so I can do the same on another room.

Dont waste your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this transmitter because my tv is above my fire place and I didn't want a bunch of wires showing, this unit is not worth the $200 I paid. the transmitter box is only about 10 feet away from the receiver and at least 10 times a day my tv will lose the signal and then take about 1-3 minutes the regain signal again. the out side of the package doesn't tell u that this thing wants direct line of sight to work, so that means that transmitting from one room to another is not going to work. anyway at 10 feet with direct line of sight this thing barely works. I do live in an older home with thick walls but the transmitter and the receiver are in the same room only about 10 feet or less from each other and this thing still doesn't work correctly. I will be checking to see if my warranty is still good if so I will be returning this item and going with my cable companies wireless cable box.

Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product for wireless HDTV extension to other HDTVs. The price is higher than I wanted to initially pay, but the value was included. I have and will recommend this product to co-workers, family and friends.

Works quite well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this purchase. This transmits the signal from one room to another without laying cable or an extra cable box. Only a slight lag delay in getting the audio signal when changing channels. Other than that, video quality is great, sound quality nice too.

Effective System
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was just what I needed and simple to use. I had a problem with one aspect of the device that was rectified immediately by the manufacturer. That said, the manufacturer’s customer response was beyond excellent.

Better than the last attempt...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product is much batter than last HD wireless device I tried, but still fights remaining connected. Also, NO documentation regarding adding a SECOND receiver at a second HD TV location - would make sense to me... I'll continue to work at this one for a while. Not at all sure why any of these devices can't auto-sense, auto-configure on the TX end and the same on the RX end.

Excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An alternative to drilling a hole in the wall. We used this to make my cable box wireless. Now I can move my room around as much as I want! I think we needed an hdmi cable with this, but we had one at the house.

Unhappy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not happy with this product. Images are pixelated and sound is very choppy. Most of the time I have to turn the receiver off numerous times before I can get a clear picture/sound for a few minutes. Will be returning. Based on others reviews, I am hoping that I can get a new one and it will work fine. Perhaps this one was a lemon? Did this happen to anyone else?

Great When it Worked
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought it just before we moved into our house. I tested it with the tv it was go go with and with our cable box to make sure that it would work. it worked alright, but I should have known it wouldn't work when I was getting a lot of breakup on the tv from maybe 25 ft away and one other room in between. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, and tried it at the house. It seemed to work fine during the first few days. We had a few flash outs over the course of our first week in the house, I figured it to be wireless interference do to it looking like it was switching channels. Flash forward to this weekend, Saturday morning we were watching a movie. Within the 2 hours of the movie, it blanked out over 50 times. I unplugged it and gave it about 30 min to cool down, to still have the same problem happen again. I swung it back to best buy and grabbed the actiontec wireless HDMI kit. Its about $25 less, and works a lot better.

we love it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we bought this because since we have moved into our house our tv could only be in one place because of where the outlets and all where. we wanted to change things up and make more space available for our children and get rid of cords running everywhere. so now that we have this we can put the tv wherever we want and not worry about so many cords and cables and we can now watch tv in our kitchen where we couldn't before and we have even thought about enclosing our deck and making it so we can put a tv outside!!!!

Works Perfectly for Remote AV Receiver Connection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Tivo Box and HDTV in separate room from receiver. Once hooked up it worked flawlessly! Sound to receiver and cable from Tivo to TV.

Average , too much time to set it up.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does not meet expectations, max range is about 30 feet. Expensive piece of equipment that does not really perform. Picture quality Average at best. Sound keeps cutting out.

I figured it was a long shot.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had big expectations on this device. But.... After hooking everything up (20 mins. later) I had picture on the second television for about 5 minutes with no sound at all. While the picture was showing on the second Tv the first television was freezing and skipping. So if you thought that you could have both screens running at the same time (wrong). I never got sound out of the second tv. And it seems like there's and issue with the digital hand shake when both displays are running. It made my comcast cable box lock on 480i. And made my Onkyo receiver say resolution error. Pressing the info button on the provided remote did noting. No menus popup at all. Nothing but 2 little icons. I was surprised that it didn't work with a distance of 40 approx. feet. It had to go thru one wall with a open door facing the receiver. I would wait a few years on this piece of tech. Back to buying a 60' HDMI cable and HDMI splitter. Ebay here I come.

Not worth the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this so I wouldn't have to run cable thru my house. I keep my components in one room and my TV in the other (to make it nice and clean looking). Unfortunately the range of this unit is less than 10 feet. The room I keep the components is about 12 feet away. Disappointing. I would expect this from a $50 product. In theory the product is fantastic. In practice, it's unacceptable.

Worst Product EVER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Trying to set it up to transmit from a smart box in one room to a tv about 30 feet away in another room. Also want the signal to display on the tv by the smart box. First, it does not find the signal and when it does, it will not transmit to the other room - just a bunch of blinking lights that do nothing. As for the local tv, it forces the tv ty cycle through various settings with color bars and test patterns, but not the picture that's streaming out of the box. Tech support is absent and asleep at the wheel. They give you a QR code to follow if you need support, but it goes to a non mobile optimized site (legal size page of data on a 3" x 4" screen) and the chat functionality goes NOWHERE. Worst support for the worst product ever. I don't see what people like about it - it just doesn't work.

bad connection even worse Iogear support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is my second iogear wireless connection. first one worked for five years then stopped working. Not too bad, not great. second one worked for a few months then stopped connecting. not good. tried iogear support. they seem to be setup to stakll and delay. for a technical company their web support is worse I have ever seen. their agent stalled fisrt by asking questions through website in a few days without sending email. When I found his questions by accident and answered he indicated they would replace item. A week later with no replacement I again raised the issue although web site listed it as closed. (It was listed as closed after every time he responded even though i still had no connection.) He then indicated he woudl send me return mail address. I would have to pay for shipping. A week later no return address still.I tried their chat line and wait was over 20 minutes. tried their phone connection through web site and got connected to chat with wait.

Impractical device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device works fine for transmitting cable signal to a TV on the other side of the room, but if you want to change the channel, you still have to go stand in front of the cable box and point the remote at the cable box to do it. This is highly impractical. The device is supposed to have a function to prevent this, but it doesn't actually work.

Does not work consistently.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product claims to extend hdmi wirelessly and it does, but it does not work well. I ran it for hours without a problem one day and the next day ithe picture went black 4 times during the nba finals as it switched to another wifi frequency....almost like a cordless phone sometimes does....very maddening...to the point that I had to take it back. It was it unusable. Wireless technology is very dicey...I ended up pulling a 75 ft hdmi cable and have had no problems.

Don't Waste Your Time on this Device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Device would not connect at 25' much less 100'. Would only connect when receiver and transmitter were about 20' apart with absolutely no obstructions. If you are looking to send HD signals over any reasonable distance as advertised by this product, you will be disappointed.
