Simple use. I like the fact that you can digitally save your slides and negatives. It was a little difficult to get some slides to fit, but with a constant technique I could process about 10 slides per minute.

I purchased this for my old dad so he could see and do something with his ancient slides. We never figured out how to get it to work, tech support was no help and by the time I tried to return it, it was too late. A waste of $100-plus and worse, a bust of a Christmas gift to someone I wanted to make happy.

I converted my slides and my neighbor's slides to digital format and we were very happy. No complaints. Product worked as promised. Following instructions is important.

An excellent product for converting 35mm sides to JPG files. Now I can save many of our favorite photos and ignore the poor quality ones and duplicates.

Some pictures look washed out, others look ok. Some photo editing software to bump up the colors helps out.

Had a lot of old slides from years ago. This makes it possible to print pictures I haven't seen in years.

It was broken from the start. The SD card did fit in the slot correctly. Called the manufacturer help desk and they said return it to them. But that meant paying for the shipping on my own and then waiting a few weeks until that one was fixed or a new one sent. I took it back to Best Buy for a refund.

This is the second one I have owned - first was lost in a fire. This one does not work at all - all scans are negatives with crazy colors.

    Scanner Worked like a charm!!!

I read all the previous reviews and knew this was not super high tech - for 79.00 versus $1.00 a slide to pay someone - I was very pleased. Scanning all different age slides from 70's and 80's. The older ones are square and a little more difficult to scan - the rounded edge slides went in just fine for the most part. The unit feeder did get backed up every once in awhile. - but just had to clear the slide and put them back in. (suggest for initial training on unit - doing one by one to see how advance in unit) You have to kind of push the pile down in the feeder as you go to get the next one in position. {note also - if you see your slides are bowed or bent you will have trouble with them - suggest gently bending back into flat shape to make it easier} Did 100's of slides over a couple days. Just needed a little patience to figure out how each slide style advances. Resolution was actually very good - was kind of dictated by the quality of the slide. The negative scanning was great. When you are working with older slides etc. they can be dusty and dirty - the little lens cleaner tool was perfect - I also kept a can of compressed gas duster handy as well. Very happy with the outcome - going to scan even more than planned.
