Wasn't looking to spend a lot on a turntable. Works with newer receivers because of the built-in pre-amp, so that's a big plus. Tried it on my 2011 Yamaha receiver and my dad's 1983 Rotel receiver, worked great (for money spent) on both. Not interested in conversion to MP3 so can't comment on how well that works.

It has a sleek look, doesn't take up too much space, and plays vinyl well.

I am extremely satisfied with this product. It has lived up to its standards and I would never choose another brand either.

Although the main purpose of this gadget is to digitize analog records, I bought it primarily to digitize reel-to-reel audio tapes. My dad was a musician and composer, and left us many of the latter. The recordings from concerts and demos seem to be transformed fairly smoothly so far, at least on the several that I have tried. It is a neat but unadvertised capability of this unit. BTW, for anyone else doing this, Internet Experts recommend making sure that the tapes themselves will not fall apart or decompose before playing them on a reel-to-reel player.

Record player works fine. I bought it because it was on sell and has rca hookups so I could hook it up to my old receiver. That is all I use it for and have had no issues. If you do hook it up to an old receiver make sure to plug the cables into auxiliary or tape, it won't work if connected to the record player ports. They tell you this in instructions, but if you are like me you do not read instructions.

This is just what I needed to start out on buildinng my stereo system.

I have borrowed a friend's ION turntable a few years ago. I saw this was selling at a great price, so we bought it. I've only done a few albums, so far, but I don't think there will be an issue recording cassettes. I did download Audacity to make it easier to "play" with the tracks. You won't be disappointed.

My husband was thrilled and the sound is better than expected.

I bought a Sony camera5 years ago that I love, in moving I lost the charger & being able to replace it enabled me to save photos of my deceased Mom & husband!

Purchased to replace an old record player that was part of a system that was at least 20 years old. It works absolutely perfectly! Great sound.

Well worth it for a starter turntable. Works great the only complaint is some of the longer albums wont play all the way. the arm thinks its at the end when there is still more music.

It's great. My daughter is going to be a music therapist and now she can make her own music that she will use in her job.

my mother-in-law loves it as it plays all the different kinds of old records. she hasn't tried to record to the pc yet tho

Took a chance with Ion as it was a good price versu the name brands. Great quality and i love that it has,a USB port.

We bought this so we could finally enjoy out old vinyl collection again. Hooked it up directly to my Big Jambox and it works great. Awesome!!!! Love it.

It worked, what can I say more about it. They are requiring me to use 50 characters. Looks like I am there.

If you have an old vinyl record collection or if you are starting a new one, this is a MUST have!
