I put it on my dash and it is still holding. Never had any issues with it interacting with motion and grasping and holding the phone.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you have this device connected and you use your phone for work like i do it will literally close applications because of the heat,sometimes it also has a connection problem,you’ll look over and see it’s not charging at all,a couple of times it opened up while i was driving phone hit the floor…not good especially if you’re going through traffic,yeah so maybe find something a little more reliable.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are sorry to hear about the trouble with overheating. This is fairly normal when running multiple apps. For example, if using Google Maps to navigate + streaming music at the same time, your phone will be working pretty hard. While the wireless charging is still working, your phone will be using power faster than it can be replenished. Heat and sunlight will also slow down wireless charging speeds (this is a safety feature to protect your phone).

Besides this after I started using his device I started to receive a notification on my car's dashboard of OVER CHARGING DEVICE once I unplugged I had no more issues, actually I'll be returning this device

heat issue

I returned it because phone gets really hot. I don't know why, but my iphone and samsung z fold 3 both got really hot everytime they were charging

My advice is get the manual clamp and release model. I used it for one day and chunked it in the other useless tech gadgets drawer.

Don't bother

It usually doesn't detect my phone, so I must push the buttons to open it up. Then sometimes, while my phone is mounted to it, it will randomly open up and drop my phone. Another issue is that my phone (s23 Ultra) must be too heavy for the mount because it keeps drooping. I can't keep it upright to save my life. The only upside to this mount is that it doesn't shake, so it is sturdy in that sense. Otherwise, I would pass on this one if I were you.
