Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear of the trouble with overheating. If you're using Google Maps to navigate + streaming music your phone will be working pretty hard, so while the wireless charging is still working, your phone will be using power faster than it can be replenished. Heat and sunlight will also slow down wireless charging speeds (this is a safety feature to protect your phone).

Just wouldn't work with my Kia Sedona...

Thank you for providing feedback on your Auto Sense Mount and sorry for the trouble with the mount staying in the mounted position.
The Auto Sense Mount is designed to support the size and weight of large phones and cases, so if it's not performing well, it's likely that the surface that it's attached to has a lot of texture or curvature, otherwise the suction cup/dashboard pad could have lost the adhesive or become defective, in which case we would be happy to send you a replacement.

If your dashboard is textured or curved, it may not be compatible, in which case we would recommend mounting it to the windshield.
