Two problems. First, magnet is not very strong and phone falls off frequently. Second, if you have a wireless charging station you can't use it because of the metal piece you need to install to use phone mount.

Honestly, it's a great idea... but over time, the ball mechanism that initially allows you to set the angle of your phone eventually loses it's grip and just has your phone wobbling all over the place (you can't set it into a single position).

This would be a fantast product if it did not fall off the dash board when I hit the brakes on my car or make a turn. It does not secure itself to the cd player slot well. You need 2 braces instead of one.

I wish the product had handles to hold the phone in place and I don’t like that you have to put a magnetic sticker on the back of your phone for it to stick. Any lil move the phone drop off the magnet.

I was very excited tthis product and be hands free when I drive. The magnet did not stick very well after following the directions copletely. I intend to bring it back to the store

This is a very good mount. I would like to give it 4.5 stars. This mounts easily into the cd player slot nicely. I would like a bit more length, but that is a minor issue. The metal plate mounts very solidly to my case, and holds my Note5 onto the mount without any real movement. I am impressed with this last point, as in landscape mode, the attachment point is well of center. There is a small amount of movement with the cd slot holder, but it does not affect the clarity of my phone display to me. Again a minor quibble. I do like how easy it is to move from my car to a rental car, and back. A big plus! I would definitely recommend this mount.

The adhesive strip doesn’t stick well enough to withstand the magnetic pull. Idea is good but the application not so much

found that the mount was not strong enough to keep my phone from tilting down, and the magnets weren't quite strong enough.

My phone keeps falling off even when I'm using it as outlined. I have a note 8 so it might be that the phone is too heavy.

The magnet on this is just too weak. Even with rare earth cases, the phone falls off.

I have a 2011 Toyota Camry and the CD slot is great to use. No problem, the extra insert made the clip perfectly snug. I have an iPhone 6 with the Apple leather case. While the adhesive on the metal pad that fits between the case and the phone would probably prefer a more smooth surface to attach to, once the case is on it holds the plate in place just fine. I've seen comments about rotating the phone and the stiffness of the ball joint in the mount. The magnet holds the phone tightly to the mount but not so tight that you can't remove it or slide it around to a horizontal position.

This fits in the CD slot but the magnet is not strong enough to hold a phone without it sliding off with every bump in the road, other even the radio at a decent volume. I would have taken it back but I threw away the box thinking it would be great. The cheaper version with the clamps is probably way better.

Does not fit properly and therefor is unstable. Rocks in place and doesn’t hold phone

Magnet works okay, sometimes your phone might be too heavy for it.

Didn’t care for this product. The idea is great but actually working, not so much. The magnet does not stay on the phone without using super glue or something similar.

Followed instructions. The metal circle piece came off with phone and picked up some hair from my floor. Does not work day 1. Returning today.

Would not recommend this I’m not good with words product didn’t last very long
