A: The way the case works you can either put the magnetic panel on the back of your existing case (comes with a 3m stickie) or use the panel that goes between the case and the phone (inside case) so you don’t have anything sticking to your case. I used it with an iPhone XS Max so it will fit both 8+ and XR. Sometimes phone wiggles when on a bumpy road (in my case I’d then just rotate it horizontally) but other than that it’s a good solution.
Q: Will this wreck your CD player?
A: No. I listen to my CDs without issue. Use common sense though, when removing the CD, remove the phone holder first!
Q: How does it attach to the CD slot? Can it easily be out in & out if you want to play a CD?
A: It has a lever that you slide, when inside the CD player, that expands to securely hold it in place. Release the lever th use the CD player.
