The way the case works you can either put the magnetic panel on the back of your existing case (comes with a 3m stickie) or use the panel that goes between the case and the phone (inside case) so you don’t have anything sticking to your case. I used it with an iPhone XS Max so it will fit both 8+ and XR. Sometimes phone wiggles when on a bumpy road (in my case I’d then just rotate it horizontally) but other than that it’s a good solution.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m pretty sure it will hold your phone. I have an iPhone 8 and I use my clear silicone case. The magnet is strong enough to hold through my case. I suggest when you place the magnet on your phone make sure to place it in the middle of your so that it’s balanced.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should work with any phone. It uses magnets so the phone doesn’t have a slot to fit in. I attached my magnet to the outside of my otter box defender case and it has worked fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In my experience it has a very powerful magnet that holds my iPhone 8 Plus, but I do use the metal piece on the outside of my case. I recommend you do the same.
