Honestly not the best thing in the world I hate that it doesn’t have a normal usb port so I could plug it directly to my car

It can't hold an iPhone since it's not heavy or strong enough. While driving, it constantly fell off.

Poor adhesion to windshield, dash, and phone. Difficult to adjust.

Fantastic for when you want your phone to slide slowly towards the floor like a dead fish thrown at a wall. If I'm going to be nickled and dimed my entire life I want my money to actually buy things that work.

The recharging is very slow and powerless and the stick on base became dislodged in days rendering it unusable. I'm returning it

iOttie always makes good in-vehicle mobile charging and cradle products and I have used them for years without any problems. The Velox Qi2 is no different. I have a dedicated cell phone mount in my vehicle from ProClip with a 17mm ball mount attached to it. So I didn't not need the suction cup mounting arm that this charger comes supplied with. However, iOttie does supply a adhesive disk so you can mount suction cup arm to your dashboard or window. So there is a diversity of mounting options. The attached USB C cable is long so where ever your usb power source is located you should be able to easily reach. In my case, I was able to tuck the cable within the trim of my vehicle and has a nice clean built in look. The cable was way too long for me but I tucked the excess away out of sight so it doesn't bother me. I prefer the attached longer cable as opposed to having a female USB c plug as the male plugs can be too long and not look as clean. I am also glad to see that iOttie has included a 20W car adapter to supply power to the Velox and it is a fairly compact and clean looking charger at that. Easily a charger iOttie can charge $20.00 for. Overall the while included package feels like it has a quality build which is what I have come to expect from iOttie. The magnet is strong enough to hold my phone while I am driving and nothing has jarred the phone loose from the mount even when driving too fast over speed bumps or choppy roads. BUT it isn't so strong that I have to yank the phone off the magnetic hold. It effortlessly slides off. Conversely it doesn't snap out of my hands when attaching it to the Velox. It's a smooth experience. Because there are little to no moving parts on JUST the MagSafe charging disk there are NO rattles whatsoever. Empty charging cradles I've used in the past begin to rattle over time. Although I did have success with earlier versions of wireless iOttie Easy One Touch Cradles. But magnets are way cooler. The 15W charging is perfectly capable to supplying a good charge to either iPhone or Android (with a MagSafe case) and can keep up while using CarPlay or Android Auto and running navigation and streaming music. There is not much else to say about the iOttie Velox Qi2. I am very satisfied with the build quality, mounting options, magnetic strength and power delivery capabilites. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a clean Qi2 charger.

The section cup is very poor. It would not hold a grip to a flat pane of glass.

If you have an S24 ultra don't buy it your phone literally slides off and doesn't hold it at all.

The Velox Mini Qi2 by iottie is a magnetic wireless charger that can be mounted directly to your dashboard or windshield. In the past, I've used phone mounts on my windshield but the magnet never seemed to hold the phone - even the ones that offer the small, steel plate to place inside your phone case. The Velox Qi2 works! The Magsafe magnet grips the phone securely and charges it at the same time. The charger offers up to 15 watts of power AND the powerful magnet holds it in place - even over bumpy roads and railroad tracks. The suction cup base has a sticky gel that adheres to the windshield, yet can be removed by simply lifting up on the suction-cup release. It can also be mounted directly to your dashboard via the included dashboard pad. They've also incorporated small vents around the mount to help dissipate heat. It has a telescopic arm which pivots up to 260 degrees and extends from 4-6.75 inches. It utilizes a ball joint connection which allows you to rotate and tilt your phone. It charges via a USB-C cable attached to the Magsafe pad. It even includes a USB-C to accessory plug adapter for vehicles without built in USB ports. I'm using this with an IPhone 14 Plus in an Antique Volkswagen which doesn't have USB connections, however it works great with the power adapter into my "cigarette lighter". In the past, I've struggled with ways to mount my phone while driving, especially if I want to use the map function, but no longer. The Velox Mini Qi2 does it!

I have been using the iottie Velox Mini Qi charger in my car for a few days now and am impressed. In the box iottie Velox Mini Qi2 MagSafe Charger Mounting Pad 12V USB C Car Charger Installation is easy, there some assembly required (click on the MagSafe charger to the mount). Takes 5 seconds. I decided to fit this in my car by attaching it to the dashboard (so didn't use the included Dash Mounting Pad). The great thing about the iottie is the arm is extendible/telescopic - fortunately it was a perfect fit in my Toyota and I didn't need to extend the arm. You then plug in the 12V adapter, the cable, and you're ready for 15W of MagSafe charging goodness. In my tests (and it's still summer) the iottie Velox didn't droop, fall off the windscreen, or have any other mounting issues. In fact, it's probably one of the strongest mounting units I have ever used, even before the locking mechanism on the iottie is clicked into position. Kudos iottie! What is a little disappointing is that the cable is not removable from the main iottie Velox unit. I'm not sure why they did this, but wish they had - because if you just want to stick your phone up and only sometimes use the charging, you're stuck with the cable. I went to my hardware store and picked up some 3M-style cable clips to better run the cable around the car and make it less intrusive. Despite the non-removable cable, the iottie is better than vent mounted MagSafe adapters which is what I previously used. I would recommend the iottie over a vent mount, as I have discovered the hardway the vent mounts are unreliable. Overall, impressed - a great add to your car if it's older and doesn't have CarPlay or Android Auto as now your phone can be at the right non distracting height for navigation. If the cable was removable from the main unit the iottie velox would be perfect!

For those of us without CarPlay, a phone car mount is a great accessory to have. You definitely should not be looking down at your phone balanced on your leg (or even worse on your hand!) while driving. Also, these days, I know alot of people like to ride share as a full or part-time job so this is also a helpful accessory for that purpose as well. The iOttie Velox Qi2 is a good option for those in the market for a phone car mount. Out of the box, I was pleased with the look of the iOttie Velox Qi2. It is fairly sleek. I enjoy the simple design. I mounted it on the left side on the windshield so as to not impact my view of the road too much. You can also attach it on the dashboard. It attaches by way of a sticky suction cup which for now has held up very well. I have noticed though with these mechanisms that they do degrade over time. Now setting up is where I think alot of people will have some irks. I wish the cable was removeable. This would be so much more convenient in the setup and also allow for substitutions if any were needed. If the cable frays/breaks, then you have to buy a whole new setup (which is probably a good thing from a company standpoint). I also had to buy an extension cable because the included cable is too short. In terms of the magnet, it works very well. One thing people should make sure is that your case (if you have one) is compatible with magsafe. Mine was not and it could not attach. So I actually take off my case in the car. Will probably invest in a new case soon. The wireless charging is much faster than the crap I have seen included with cars so I am happy with that. All in all, this is a good product with some minor inconveniences. Would definitely consider this if you are in the market for a solid car mount.

The iOttie Velox Qi2 Wireless Dashboard & Windshield Car Mount is a great mount for my vehicle. It supports Apple’s MagSafe technology. There are some mounts that only supports MagSage, which requires you to also plug up your phone to charge. This mount is better than most because the charging cable plugs into the mount. This allows you to charge your phone by just placing your phone on the MagSafe charger. I used to have clip in type iOttie mount. It had the charging cable plugged into the mount as well, but if I wanted to switch my phone from portrait to landscape there was a bit of tension on the cable. With this one being MagSafe, I can easily switch my phone from portrait to landscape without that issue. The magnets do an excellent job of keeping my phone attached to the mount. It has not fallen off at all while driving. Since I already had a previous iOttie mount installed, I only had to swap out the head unit which made installation even easier for me. Overall, I really like this mount and hope to get years of great use from it.

The iOttie Velox QI2 phone mount is a game changer. I have used iOttie phone mounts in the past and they have always been top quality, but this new mount is even better than anything I have used in the past. There are two major mounting options for this phone mount. The first is a traditional suction cup to the window. This allows you to place it anywhere you would like on the window. The second is my personal favorite. I prefer for my phone to be more out of the way and not blocking my view. This option allows you to place a sticky pad anywhere on your dash and then the suction cop mounts to the pad. There is a somewhat hidden lever that allows you to get good suction. The first try I just pressed the suction cup down and it fell off shortly after, which is when I learned you had to use the lever to get good suction. As far as phone mounting options, this phone mount uses mag safe. You can tilt your phone both horizontal and vertical without moving the mount. The only downside is that if you hit a big enough bump, it can fall off. Granted, I am using this in a jeep wrangler and it took quite a but for it to fall. The best part about this setup is that wireless fast charging is built in to keep your phone charge without having to plug in an additional wire. This mount has tons of flexibility to fit just about anywhere and at any angle. One of the reasons I did not have a phone mount in my jeep prior to this, is because there was not a lot of space to mount my phone and have it be out of the way. If you are looking for a great car phone mount that is both easy to use and has a built-in wireless charger than look no further. iOttie makes top quality products and this is no exception. It will work in just about any vehicle, no matter what type of space/surface you are dealing with.
