Great vacuum does the job well. Helps a lot with having to sweep and mop

I’m giving it a three because one of the mop scrubbers stopped spinning only after a couple of weeks on the job. However, after contacting the company via text, they stated they are sending me a new one out within the next 7-10 days. The rating could go up if the next works better. I can’t recommend something that I’m having issues with only after a couple weeks.

Does a very good job cleaning, but in my situation sensor for a dirty water tank stoped working after 5 days of use and it wont clean no more.

Ive been an Irobot user for about six years. I wanted a robot that could replace both my vacuum and mop robots. I had been resewrching this model for exactly that. I almost didnt putchase because of all of the negative reviews. Im glad i disnt let tye negative people sway my purchase. This was the best investment ever. I couldnt be happier.

Not thrilled with the unit nor the lack of support from this company. The 505 does not empty the debris bin. Contacted their support and the only trouble shooting step from the company has been to restart the unit and the base. Once those steps did not work I waited over a week for their support rep to come back and ask about the warranty status for this unit that came out 2 months ago. On the positive side the 505 does seem to navigate around obstacles better but has canceled the running job several times claiming that it was stuck while in the middle of the room. Until they get these issues fixed I would recommend that this one be avoided.

This IRobot is good, working is very well and whole instruction includes. Thank you for this item.

Daily errors, having to reboot, stop routine, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, which crashes and fails to show progress properly. Additionally, seems to have insufficient sensors to properly map areas. It would not go under a computer desk, regardless of ample space. It always some dirt spots.

I recently upgraded my previous versions of iRobot vacuum and mop to this model. Great product! Love the time it saves me.

Besides the obvious reason that the company has gone bankrupt, avoid the mistake I made in buying this. I wish I could attach the video of "smart cleaning" which looks more like a drunk driver is operating it with an joystick. It cleans everywhere except where I specifically set it to clean.

I absolutely love my Roomba. I can take it from the dock and put it in other rooms to clean also. It is a tremendous time saver and such a relief. Does a really good job of vacuuming and mopping.

Excellent and really wonderful work well easy to use and easy to maintain

I have gone through many generations and brands of robot vacuums over the years. Each time I try one, I am always left unimpressed and wanting more. They either are extremely dumb and try to eat everything on the floor (socks, cables, money...) and would ram into your walls startling you, or just sucked (not in a good way for vacuums) at sucking. So, I honestly was skeptical to try out the Roomba Plus 505, just because of my bad experiences in the past. I just recently bought a new home that has hardwood + tile everywhere, no carpet! Just some area rugs. I really needed help with mopping and saw this and thought, ok why not? Setup was very easy to do, just unbox, fill the water tank put it in, attach the mops and sweeper and you are done! The home base is really nice, it looks sleek, seems well built, and has a little ramp for your minion. I thought the auto map worked pretty well. Obviously you want to do your best job at removing anything that might get in its way. Another cool thing is that it auto detects what the furniture is. So after a few runs, it will know "oh thats a dining table, oh that is a bed, oh that is a couch" and put it on your map, and know how to navigate it better. The spot clean feature is nifty to use in a pinch. But let's get down to what matters the most, how well does it clean? Well, let me tell you, I am actually very impressed with how well this thing can clean. My floors were quite dirty and hadn't been mopped in almost a month so I put this thing up to the test. Wow I could not believe how much dirt it picked up in the dirty water resovoir! I then had it do a deep clean pass after spraying some floor cleaner, and my floors came out better than when I moved in. And to top it off, I didn't have to lift a finger or break my back mopping! And then the cherry on top is that it cleans it's own pads, notifies you when to replace them, empties its own dustbin and dirty water and fills up with new water. It's honestly everything you could want! The only "complaint" is I guess it's slow, it could take a couple hours to clean the whole house and needs to refill quite a bit, but I mean what do you expect? On top of superior cleaning, this robot is quite smart. Like really smart. It never has gotten any of my rugs wet in mopping mode! It knows when a rug or carpet is coming up, and auto retracts the mop pads so it does not get wet. And then it starts to vacuum and it does a great job at that too! And once it is done, it sets back down the mop pads to continue hard wood + surface cleaning. 5/5, great job iRobot!!

Does an amazing job. Makes as many trips to her cleaning dock as necessary so that you have the best experience.
