    This iRobot seems to hit things pretty hard, I guess I did not do my homework on which one to buy. I did not know there where so many to choose from. We had one before with two rotating brushes and the filter was not in the same chamber as where you dump it at. Also I thought this one used magnetic strips to stop it from going to certain places. I would have spent the extra money to have two brushes and it work with the magnetic strips. It works on the app to start it, stop it and return it to the dock but it is really for a smart house.

    After months that my wife kept insisted on getting a Roomba, we finally decided to get a one and it's everything that I expected - a dumb fancy electronic device that doesn't pick up even the smallest amount of dirt, or the small leaves from our small Christmas tree. Also, the iRobot app interface is very basic and wished it could do more, like mapping of the house and setting off-limit areas but it does notify you when the Roomba is stuck! The only great thing I can say, it does pick up the pet hair under the sofa which my basic vacuum can't reach, which isn't worth the money.

    The Roomba battery dies before returning to the docking station. Contacted iRobot customer service, reset the unit and no improvement.
