Not literally. It’s not a good vacuum. Nothing very “smart” about it.

My wife is a cat lover and any cat owner knows that with a cat comes litter. We have 3 cats and cat litter would literally be in every room of the house! I hated hearing the vacuum 5 times a day just to keep the floor clean of cat litter and fur. I would literally walk around the house and see balls of fur blow from the breeze of my footsteps. I bought this roomba as a gift to my wife with very low expectations. When I say it works amazing! It literally is my best friend! I really like how you can press clean using the app while you aren’t home. I know it takes about 1 hour to clean our apartment so most times I’ll have it cleaning before we even arrive home. The self charging is also a plus, don’t settle for any of the roombas that doesn’t have self charging. I forgot to mention it’s quiet compared to a conventional vacuum so I even have it running at night sometimes. Oh you better believe I’m getting my moneys worth! Lol Trust me it’s worth it. I will say that it will vacuum anything! So you will have to keep socks or small toys off the floor before cleaning because you do risk breaking the roomba. Do not hesitate! BUY THIS EQUIPMENT you will not regret it!

The thing will bump around forever and never dock. For 300 dollars it should at least remember is starting position and be able to back track to it. The first three runs and it just dies and i had to pick it up and dock it. It picks up a lot of dirt, so just as a general cleaning tool it is useful, but hardly worth 300 dollars. If you dont mind it wondering around aimlessly and then redocking it once the batteries dies it will generally keep the floors clean. My recommendation to irobot is to get some better software. This it's almost 2020......

Im satisfied with my roomba. Wish the collection bin was larger. Labrador retriever means lots of hair shedding.

Good machine. Floors get very clean. Durable for over a year so far. This works better than my other robot vacuum which was an ecovac and broke. It is fairly loud so best to run when you are not in the room. Easy to empty the dust bin. Will buy iRobot Roombas in the future. It is not perfect at going back to its docking station but not too bad. The mobile app is very intuitive with android and works well.

I have a love hate relationship with this guy. Yes he does what is expected and keeps the house in better shape so I don’t have to vacuum everyday. I have 2 large dogs who shed A LOT. I also have hardwood floors and carpet which it works good on both. But he is kinda dumb and takes a while to clean the whole room he’s in (which I’m not really complaining). I have to set up my own boundaries which doesn’t take too much time out of my day. Sometimes he’ll even go over the same area 500 times instead of going to different areas but again I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect. If you are just someone who’s looking for a little bit of help keeping the floor clean and doesn’t expect perfection then this is your guy. If you’re someone who expects perfection and wants it done as fast as possible, look elsewhere.

Great product. The only small complaint I have is that it bumps into the couch legs a little too hard. It has left marks. Other than that, it's fantastic!

Worked for 4 years and finally died. Just ordered the replacement. 15/10 recommend!

I had a 'chinese' brand that I paid about 1/2 the price for close to 3 years ago that still worked, but was getting long in the tooth, so I decided to try the grand-daddy of the market and see if their 'budget' version was worth twice the money. Nope. It's loud. Like, REALLY loud. Not as bad a stadanrd vacuum cleaner, but easily 2-3 times as loud as my old robovac. Last night, I heard it repeating a 'sound' that sound almost like it was in distress, for about 3-4 minutes. I finally got up to see what was going on and it was in the kitchen, in a corner, going back and forth, over and over, between the corners. Trapped. I watched it for a full 2 more minutes and finally 'helped it out' of the corner. What the heck iRobot? Never, once, in the three years I had the Oufy did that happen. It's expensive. $300 for, effectively, a dumb randomized robovac. it has an app and wifi, but the 1/2 the price version has a remote that does all the same things. I can live without an app for 1/2 the price. Especially if I'm not giving anything up (and the remote, frankly, accesses MORE functions than the app for the iRobot - they've limited what it can do so it doesn't compete with their more expensive models). I'll be keeping it, as long as it doesn't get stuck in kitchen corners very often, but I won't be buying another iRobot product.

Great cleaning robot! Got a Chinese knock off the year before for my girlfriend and we were okay with it but this one is so much more quieter and efficient, I love the ease of app control and how easy it goes over area rugs. Noise still to be expected from tile/wood flooring.

This Roomba could never find its way back to home base. The app did not work. It had a poor connection when I placed it on home base and it took several tries to get it to charge. I never could finish a cleaning job without recharging and my living room is small. It kept talking to me but I could not understand her voice as I was always upstairs and Ms. Roomba was downstairs. I called and e-mailed Roomba several times but my issues were never solved. I returned it.

Cleans and functions as advertised. Easy to connect on my phone.

This is my 2nd Roomba and thisnone is awful! The outlet doesn’t stay connected. Customer Service send me a new one and it still doesnt work. I have googled and done every trick imaginavle. Won’t stay plugged in to charge. I will never buy another Roomba!

Amazing! I have a lab and she sheds like crazy!! It even picked up her clumps of hair. The app worked well. Not sure why there are poor reviews. This vacuum cleaner will save me lots of time!! I have it scheduled for every 3 hours and my floor is spotless every time

I am super dissapointed with with this vacuum. First of all, It makes a big difference to pay more for the better version that have the mapping option. This vacuum is not smart. It goes from one place to another with no direction which causes to miss spots. I stopped the vacuum several times and placed it in the areas that needed additional cleaning and it still missed several spots. After almost two hours, and several intents I still have several areas that are not clean.
