It seems to just randomly roam about the house and misses a lot of dirt and debris.

Purchased a Roomba I3 instead, which follows a straight line pattern, remembers where is was, and slows down and gently taps the furniture. Roomba I3 also docks to recharge and resumes cleaning if it hadn't finished.
