But what if there was a machine that helped take some of the heavy lifting? That's what the Roomba is, and that is what the Roomba does. Helps maintain my hard wood floors clean, and makes actual cleaning days a whole lot easier. Gert this and your spousal arguments will surely decline.

Roomba 675

Unfortunately, the side brush stopped working after about 2 hours of use, and we didn't like the random coverage when working. In addition, when you tell it to go home, it doesn't go directly, but continues in its random motion. It can take 20 minutes for it to find the home station. We ended up purchasing another (higher) model at another store. If you want a Roomba (and they are very useful), I suggest a higher model than the 675.

It doesn't replace your sweeper, but I find I'm not running it as often. It gets under my bed, couch etc. -places I often ignore. I have two cats and I don't always take my shoes when I go in and out. I schedule it to run M-F at 9:00 am. I totally think it's worth it.

Just make sure that there are no wires or large items on the floor before you start it. The app could be a bit better, some times it get buggy and won’t let me stop the cleaning job or send the Roomba to its dock. Overall would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to vacuum all the time, especially pet owners.
