My robot needs gps

Unfortunately it just vacuums the same areas over and over. I have to move it and restart it if I want better results.

It works well on the carpet in my apartment(which is likely standard in most apts.). It works goes across my bathroom rug, and a area rug I have in my bedroom. It will not work on the harder, stiffer, thicker rug in my living room that my coffee table sits on.
