Instead, my recent experience reflects a serious failure in customer trust and internal accountability. I was working with a representative named George S., who provided a written and confirmed price quote for the Roomba 705 Vac: $549.99 – $130 trade-in – 15% discount ($67.49), totaling $382.49. I have emails as proof documenting the exact price he offered me. However, the moment I informed him that I was ready to complete the purchase, he stopped responding entirely. As soon as the product price increased from $549 to the $700 range, he suddenly contacted me again—pushing me to buy it at the higher cost. When I declined and said I would wait until the price dropped again, he went silent once more. When the price returned to $549 last Monday, he again did not respond. I escalated the situation through the main iRobot customer support line, provided full context, and referenced the email proof. Solid self directed vacuum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid product with decent suction and good avoidance ability to not run over objects left on the floor. Overall it is quiet and unobtrusive. The process of dumping itself can be a bit noisy, but worth the annoyance as long as it is not when you are trying to have a quiet space at the time. The rollers can be challenging to clean when hair gets wrapped around it, but this is the case for most vacuums. It works well for pet hair and overall clean up. It can miss spots but that could be user error. It has a solid battery life to do its job without challenges. Easy enough to set up and has 3D mapping to help it to avoid things like cords so it doesn’t damage your electronics. Overall easy operation, quiet work and solid suction. It looks very much like previous models and seems to have the same basic functionality. The quieter motor and the upgraded 3D mapping seem to be the biggest changes. It seems somewhat better for animal hair and cleaning in general. Nice product that makes general clean up easier.

Poor Documentation and Support

I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to get in touch with the Manufacturer and obtain support. Roomba support speaks a different English than I do, and I have a difficult time understanding them. My issue has been escalated to a level 2 technician, and I am still waiting. I have had this unit for two weeks, and I still cannot get it to function from the app. The documentation and setup leave a lot to be desired. On the plus side, I can run it using the buttons on the robot, and it does an excellent job of cleaning. If they ever get this unit working, I will try to update this review.

Quality build but software is bugged!

It would recharge for 5 min despite battery being very low and continue cleaning. This is very annoying. It cleans well but until the software gets updated it’s not worth $899 price tag. iRobot used be great but quickly being replaced by cheaper and better products.

Precise, Powerful and Futuristic
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The iRobot - Roomba Max 705 Vac Robot Vacuum represents an upgrade over my previous ROOMBA that is leaps and bounds better in every aspect. The setup is very straight forward with the included app. PRODUCT 10/10 The product is built extremely well and is made of premium materials. The Dock is solid and sturdy and is very stylish to have setup and against the wall. The robot aspect is hefty but sturdy. It just feel solid and premium. It has all the latest technology such as AI and its new LIDAR vision. CLEANING 10/10 In my house I have a mixture of tile, hardwood floors and carpet. So I gave this Roomba a run for its money. I set it up and it was off to the races. Once it was going it made its way around rather quickly and actually was quicker at learning my obstacles way better than previous iterations. Once it was on the TILE floors i noticed a difference in its vacuum power as it was getting smaller things on the floor that others wouldn't. Once it got on the carpet the brushes didn't tangle and kept moving perfectly fine. ROBOT 10/10 I creating this section because I have to give the robot some credit, the technology is way faster at recognizing my shoes, backpacks and furniture around the rooms. I would say that it would sense these objects up to 3 ft out as I saw it pause and process for a few seconds then alter its paths correctly. Overall 10/10 Even though I have only used this for a week so far, the robot has worked flawlessly. It has emptied its self in the base station and it has a lot of space to empty. It even gets all the hair on the floors that are missed by traditional vacuums so that was nice. Plus zero dust bunnies anywhere. Overall this is the best Roomba I have ever had and Im excited that it will have my house clean while I am at work!

Not good

Constantly gets stuck or wont return to dock even when its out in the open. When it goes back to the dock to charge and resume it doesnt actually resume, it just starts over. Do not buy

Disappointed
