I have Mexican tile and my Roomba does not clean down in the grout lines.

The vacuum feature for spot cleaning does not work very well

Went with the cheaper model but our main floor has too many obstacles. The unit had trouble navigating our furniture and sucked up a curtain. Not the best fit for us

Worked 3 months past the two year warranty, which was extra and it was only used on hard wood floors, no carpets $600 down the tubes. Bought on 4/29/2016 it quit working 8/11/18. I doubt best buy is gonna honor my warranty, we will see. At this point we will not be buying another one.

Needy rarely runs without needing care. Will return

Don't be lazy - get a broom. There is tiny storage capacity for dirt that is picked up. Tiny bristles for sweeping. Don't expect this to last very long.

Amazing product. I lose a lot of hair, and it deals with it effortlessly. Quiet. It will occasionally get stuck, but it shuts down if it does.

When I first turned it on it would only go in circles. Downstairs is an open space in my home but it is an irregular shaped room so it kept thinking that it was done when it had only vacuumed a very small space, it only cleans when I pick it up and put it somewhere if not it goes out for a minute and goes back to the docking station. It missed some spots at first but eventually got back and got it. I have a shag rug in my living room and it will not go on it and when I set it on it, it said there was an error, I was told it would work on any floor/carpet type and it does not, but only on that rug, it works on my other rugs just fine. It's a little inconvenient because I have a 2 year old and we spend a lot of time in the living room, I normally vacuum that area 3 times a day and I still have to break out my vacuum to do the main spot I need cleaned. However upstairs it cleaned my carpet amazing, I emptied it and put it in my daughters room and it cleaned under her bed and under the dressers and it picked up so much I was in shock. It cleans basic rooms pretty well but in large open spaces with a lot of furniture that makes it an irregular space will take a few tries and the timer is pointless because in the main living space I have to move it where I want for it to even move away from the docking station.

If you're looking to get a Roomba, choose this one! The only difference between the 860 and the newer version (870, I think) is that this one comes with only one tower, instead of two. My husband and I love this one! He and our daughter have dust allergies, and after one week, they are both sneezing and coughing less. When I look at the dust it picks up, I can't believe my eyes because I don't see all of the dust and trash lying around. It's one less thing I have to do, and it was worth every penny! The picture is of three days of cleaning.

IROBOT 690 BUYER BEWARE! I purchased an Irobot 690 over the holidays and it has never returned to home base. It just dies somewhere around the house and we have to find it and place it back in the charging dock. I called Irobot on this and was told my home was most likely too big for the model (1700 square feet)…The problem is there is NO information pertaining to the size of the area the 690 will clean…The literature only states it works on wifi and last about an hour per charge. The Irobot repo kept telling me that the 900 series states up to 2000 SF and said they agree the 690 should state coverage limitations. However they said I am stuck with the model I have and need to block off areas of the house…I cannot recommend a product in which the company fails to disclose and then blames the purchaser…DON”T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF ...

I was very impressed with my 860 right out of the box. I bought this model because I don't care about the ability to control it with my phone. I would highly recommend this product and he price is reasonable for what you get!

I just purchased the Roomba 860. It works great but it sure makes a lot of noise at it hit objects and then wanting to make a turn. The sound can be heard throughout the house. This is my only drawback.

It can get stuck on the rugs, but works great on the hardwood floors. The tray is easy to dump out.

I love the iRobot 860. I run it everyday and it is great when you have pets.
