I am in love with this Robot!! I have been wanting one for years and honestly I can't believe it took me so long to get one. I am extremely happy!!! First I bought the 770, within one week, I found myself cleaning the brushes too often which for me, defeats the purpose of having a robot. Therefore, after doing extensive research, I traded it for the 870. I am so glad I did!! I have two cats and one Golden Retriever. My dog, sheds a lot so having Roomba has been the best thing that has happened to me. I am extremely busy and I got tired of coming home and vacuuming all the time. I even have a real maid that comes to the house twice a month and still I ''had'' tumble weeds of hair floating around. Needless to say, my maid will no longer have to come anymore Roomba has done it and all I have to do is minor touch ups around the house now. Woot Woot!!! Now I can't wait to come home after work. This is probably the coolest and most functional gadget that I've ever bought. It runs around my 1000sf apartment with ease. It fits under furniture and into both bedrooms and a bathroom. It has made such a large difference, I had family over and they asked if I "had my carpets cleaned." Which I had, by the roomba. I also want to note that I have 2 cats. I have noticed that my breathing and sleep has gotten better as well. With the two cats, the roomba runs every day and still fills the collection bin.

ROOMBA 870 I can't live without it and I LOVE it so much that I use it everyday. After a month using it, I have decided to purchase a second one to give it to my mother in law. I can't stop spread good words about this product!! It is great to collected all PET hair and dust. The noise is reasonable, so I still can stay in the room and watch it to clean. It is one of the HELPFUL TOOL that will save you a lot of work and time. I know it is kind of expensive, but believe me it is WORTH IT!!!

Before you buy this model, please be aware that it will not navigate from room to room with the Virtual Lighthouses. You need the 880. Otherwise, I am impressed with what it picks up, especially when I didnt have to do anything. I will likely return though to get the 880.

Bought it to supplement so we don't have to pull out the canister as much. Does a great job on bare floors with pet hair. On area rugs it does and "OK" job with fur. Keep in mind this is not the one designed for pets.

comparing to the 500 and 600 series models. also runs surprisingly long on a charge. great that it holds more debris and has a sealed hepa vacuum system.

I love this vacuum. It is so efficient. I usually follow it around to make sure it's not getting tangled and I rarely have to rescue it. It is amazing technology.

I debated buying a Roomba for a long time. I finally went for it, and I'm so glad! I can put it in a room and let it go. I also set the timer and let it do its thing when we are at work. It really helps between sweeping and mopping. It finds all kinds of debris. It can get all underneath my king size bed. She gets stuck every once in a while, but not often.

The only issue I have with it is that it gets stuck a lot and tried to jump things if they aren't talk enough. I have to supervise it more then I thought I would have to.

I got this at Christmas thinking that it would keep our floors (a mix of carpet, hardwood, and linoleum tile) relatively clean without much hassle. While it does a decent job of picking up generic dust, dirt, debris, and cat hair, it needs constant coddling and attention. It only cleans certain areas of the 1st floor certain times, and about 70% of the time we find it stuck on or under something and out of battery charge. It only cleans and re-docks itself automatically about 3 out of 10 cleanings. You have to move/put up chairs, cables, etc. because it will get hung up on pretty much anything it encounters that isn't a flat wall or a large piece of furniture. Overall, if I had it to do over again I would save the money and not bother with this product. It just doesn't work well enough to justify the expense. Even at half price I don't think it would be worth it.
