I was skeptical when my daughter brought this home but it works much better than expected on dirt and sand tracked into the house and on pieces of food dropped on the floor by my grand daughter.

We have 3 dogs, removes hair off floors so our granddaughters can play. Love it

We have 2 dogs that shed a LOT! This keeps my floors clean while the kids are at school and I'm at work or doing something else around the house. I love not having to push the vacuum around!

We have programmed to clean automatically. Currently it runs at night, will probably change it to run during the day. I have really enjoyed it so far.

I am so glad I got this! It sweeps our floors while we are away! It's amazing the cat hair and dirt it picks up. I wish I spent more money for the next one up to do multiple rooms.

I really like this little robot vac. I don't have a lot of time to clean. This robot has stepped up my standards. It's way convenient and does a very good job on my tile and hardwoods. I have not had the issue of it not finding its home. It finds it every time. I love being able to push the button in the morning and go get ready for work and it is finished when I get back. It cleans about 1,100 sq. foot over 3 rooms without light houses to guid it. I have a fairly open floor plan so that probably helps. Buy this little guy!

Bought on 6/1/15. Worked great at first and was amazed at how well it picked up animal hair. We have 2 long haired cats and 2 golden retrievers so no shortage of animal hair in our house. Unfortunately, the Roomba cannot keep up even if used daily. In fact, it seems to have stopped picking up the majority of what it rolls over. We have wood floors with area rugs throughout our entire house. When it moves to an area rug, it leaves clumps of hair all over, as if it's cleaning out the rollers (see attached photo). It's not actually vacuuming much of the hair up and into the bin. Regardless of how often we empty the bin, it still leaves clumps of hair all over the rugs that weren't there before its attempt to vacuum. Also noticed that it has started to leave hair on the wood floors. At one point, hair tangled around the roller and actually chewed up part of the roller. We have to babysit the roomba to make sure it stays tangle free. This whole thing has been more hassle than it's worth. I always end up using our regular vacuum to clean up after the roomba's mess. I'm going to attempt to return the roomba but have a feeling I'm just past the return window...of course. Long story short, I do not recommend this product.

Codswell my robot maid does quite well on wood floors. Yes I named my ROOMBA. It picks up all the cat hair and dust. He goes every night at 0300 while we sleep. Works great with easy to replace parts when needed.

After you recognize where the Roomba will hang up , you can make adjustments to throw rugs or what ever hinders it , the Bot does a fine job . I have two short hair dogs & wood floors , keeps them free of dog hair .

Nice combination of machine and electronics. Very easy setup and as complex as you want to make it. This is our first machine and wanted to get it right, since it was an anniversary gift for my beautiful wife. I wasn't sure how she would take it, but she loves it. She has done all the programming and setup for it without my help. This particular machine is not quite the top of the line, but has tried and true features that are now the basics of what to expect from a robotic vacuum.

Unit seems to get confused in tight spaces, therefore doesn't necessarily get to all the floor, but certainly does a good job in open spaces and maintains a decent level of overall cleanliness.

Great piece of technology! Time saver and does the job well. Can't wait for further improvement on the technology at an affordable price.

This was a super purchase for our home. It was worth the investment we made.

Does a great job at cleaning the house, however you still need to vacuum from time to time. My only complaint is when the dirt bin is full, a light turns on, but it will keep on cleaning. So you need to check on it now and then.

I like that the irobot keeps the house clean but it doesn't make it to the charging station 95% of the time. I'm a bit disappointed. It'll be great if it worked like it should

Cleans the carpets very well, particularly with all of the cat hairs that are on the floor.

I have had my Roomba for a couple months now. I love it. It has it's problems, but what technology doesn't. The suction is excellent! It picks up dirt you don't even see. I have a boxer and the roomba really concentrates on the areas where he lays down often. Negatives, we have to "supervise" the roomba because it gets tangled in wires, etc and it sometimes misses places. However, that being said, it is awesome to run the roomba while I am doing other cleaning. Definitely a time saver.

It is nice to have but it is kinda loud. Almost like having a self powered handvac that randomly scurries about. Does pickup a lot and tray compartment is small so we empty it out a lot.
