The robot does not do a good job cleaning. It does not create a pattern to clean but cleans haphazardly and misses spots and repeats other spots. Cannot even find home base most of the time.

I’ve gone through 4 vacuums in the past 18 months because they have not lived up to my wife’s and mine expectations. They either don't clean, are too loud, or broke down too easily. I’m happy to say we are very satisfied with the Roomba 890. The App is simple and has been stable. To start the vacuum remotely, simply setup the app (simple but you do need to register), open it, and hit the large “CLEAN” button on the home page. It's that simple! My wife loves how nicely it fits under cabinets and couches and how thoroughly it cleans under things with minimal effort. The dust tray is easy to clean and the filter is easily accessible. I do recommend cleaning both at least once a week if you run it every day without pets. More often if you have pets. The first time we operated the Roomba 890, it went 5’ from the base and ran itself in circles. We brought it back to the base station with the convenient handle and finished configuring the WiFi while it charged. On the second attempt, it operated exactly as we expected though it seems to take a random path throughout our 1500sq./ft. hardwood floors. We left things for it to pick up and, though it often took the “scenic route,” it cleaned everything. Second to the unpredictable routing, the only other complaint I had was the noise. It’s noticeable but doesn’t cause a distraction unless it’s running in the middle of the night while sleeping. I could hear it running the entire cycle throughout the house. I shut the bedroom doors and let it do its thing. I changed it’s schedule to run Sunday morning while my family and I are away. The Roomba 890 requires a section of wall with about 2’ clearance all the way around in order to start cleaning and to return. Not an issue for me but be forewarned you may need to move things around to accommodate.

Couldn’t connect to wifi I couldn’t complete set up.

Roomba 890 work okay. It follows a very random pattern. Some things are missed and other areas are covered several times. It often gets caught in the chair legs under the dining room table. Filter needs cleaned and/or replaced. I do like the remote activation.

This vacuum performs extremely well on our tile and hardwood floors but gets hung up on our plush rugs. It operates well on finely knit rugs. Overall, it’s okay but not perfect. If you had no plush thick rugs it would probably work well for you.

This is a great item we have dogs and all laminent flooring . We run it once a day and its amazing

We love it. It really works well. It does not run into the furniture as much as our other machine.

Not very impressed with the roomba vacuum. It does not seem to charge, it cannot seem to line itself up on the charging base correctly. Sometimes I am able to take a couple minutes trying to adjust it to get it to charge but really defeats the purpose of an automated vacuum. Most jobs end with it getting stuck under a chair or wedging itself under my kitchen cabinets. Even when it is “cleaning” it just putts around aimlessly. Pretty disappointed for the price you pay for them. I would not recommend this vacuum.

The Roomba totally exceeded our expectations. The amount of dirt collected will blow your mind.

This is truly great vacuum. Picks up dirt really good. Programmable from phone or Amazon Alexa.

It was hard to connect to my homes WiFi. Once I found the right placement it worked better.

For this for Christmas and use it every day. Great for dog hair! Would strongly recommend this.
