The Roomba works about as well as I thought- It doesn't get everything, but, I didn't expect it would. What it does do well, is keep up with the daily accumulation, fairly well. I'll still need to clean the floor myself, but the intervals in between are much longer, and the place looks neater in between. It was worth it.

TLDR: I would not recommend this product. The mopping is terrible. It is good at sweeping routine dust/debris. I have a 600 sq ft apartment with all hardwood floors. I bought this hoping it would make cleaning/maintaining my floors a lot easier. It really does not. And when you factor-in the MSRP of $500 it is a terrible value. The route/map setup is pretty straight forward. I am not sure why, but it seems like the map does not remember static objects like furniture as it completes the route. My unit will run into objects that have never moved at full force like it has never seen/detected them before. The other frustrating thing is the robot avoids about a 4 foot arc around the base. You have to manually clean this area. The robot functions with two different collection units. One is the normal vacuum that will automatically dump into the base station. The other is the mop/vacuum combo that needs to be filled with your solution or water. You cannot leave the mop unit in the robot as the liquids will leak all over the base/floor. As far as mopping, the unit does not apply even pressure while being dragged. This results in very streaky floors. It also does not apply the liquid in a uniform manner. It has two pads that allow the liquid to saturate a rag. As the unit runs the route, the rag quickly runs dry and will again leave a very streaky finish. As for the quality, it will often leave spots unclean due to this. If there is a mess on the floor there is no way it will clean it. At best it will push the mess around until it is diluted and spread around. The next unit I purchase will have a base station that holds the mopping solution (this does not), cleaning brushes that move/agitate, and be self-cleaning so it does not spread the mess around. Do yourself a favor and dont overspend on this unit thinking your getting the best of both worlds. Your just wasting your money on the mop feature.

It works well enough to keep the space clean. It does miss some things on the corners or side but it does get 95% of the floor clean.

Love the product was tired of feeling the dirt and hair on my bare feet and had to get this second wife to fix that issue the first enjoys it as well less for her to do

A gift for my mother, she loves it. It doesn’t replace the need for deep cleans, but it does daily cleaning while she’s working which it great for her.

Overall I love this! My only complaint is that it does not hold enough liquid to mop the entire downstairs of my house and there is no notification when it runs out so it continues to “clean” but with no liquid to mop with.

Yeah I mean it kinda works. I would call it more of a broom than a vacuum. You still gotta do manual deep clean yourself not to mention you have to clean the roomba itself. This particular model also will not avoid any pet messes so if you got cats with hairballs etc expect to do some robot detailing. Other than that I had the side brush break in the first week I was using it. I wish I would have researched a bit more before buying this particular model. However it does certainly have a convenience to it all that said.

This it completely junk onlynworks every once in a while gets stuck in open places stops and says bin is full when it isnt also replaced rollers trying to get it to work and it did for mabe 5 minutes and stopped again wife is so disappointed with it she doesn't even want to try it anymore total was of money.

Its too noisy No practical at all moping. Im planing returned it

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. We love ours and thought she could use one as well. We both have dogs and it is helps with daily hair pickup on the hardwood floors. Initial mapping/set up can be a pain but once it's done it's amazing!

The robot, unfortunately, leaves debris behind and has a challenge going over various rugs. Also, after it mapped out the rooms of the house, it kept repeating the same areas and not attending to the correct zones.

We have a husky and three labradors that love leaving hair all over the house. Having the roomba keep up on everything has made thing so much easier. It handles the dog hair with ease.

This iRobot does an excellent job. I have German Shepherds that shed and it does a great job. I would definitely purchase again

I bought this for my Mom for Christmas and she loves it. It navigates through the home well also. It also works fine with pet hair

I have had a couple of these now and this with the WiFi connection have been amazing. It does a fantastic job
