The iRobot Roomba Combo j5+ is a solid choice if you want a hands-free way to keep your floors clean. It vacuums and mops, dodges obstacles like cords and pet messes, and lets you customize cleaning schedules through the app. It’s great for picking up pet hair and dirt, though the mopping feature could be better—it doesn’t automatically detect carpets, so you’ll need to set no-mop zones. It’s a little loud when emptying its bin, but overall, it’s a reliable helper for keeping your home tidy with minimal effort.

We have not had a roomba simce the early days of the brand, and wow, the upgrades that have happened since then are noticeable and outstanding, this models ability to map and learn your space and avoid objects(in our house its mostly shoes and cables) is something you didnt know you needed until you had it. On the cleanliness side of things I 100% wish I would have gotten the bin that it could self empty into as I often get notifications crying out "my bin is full :'( ", mind you, there is settings which can ignore a full bin and just continue on. Our floors are a healthy mix of low pile carpet and vinyl flooring, when the combo bin is installed it does a great job adhering to the [No Mop Zone], and when the vacuum bin is in, it does a great job vacuuming, truly! If youre reading this and are unsure if how well this lil bot sucks up dirt, trust this random persons review, it suck, it sucks very well, so many dust bunnies, hair and sand have been eliminated from our floors! As a last little note, the lines it produces on carpet specifically are *chefs kiss* you always know when your little roomba did its thing!

Great vacuum, great for pet hair and programming is simple

This is my seventh Roomba and the best so far! I have 2 dogs, and it runs every day. I love the mapping, the fact that it recognizes and avoids obstacles, the fact that you can do a deep cleaning too, when it has to clean more and runs out of charge goes to the home base, charges itself, then finishes the job, it's just amazing! The fact that is also mops is great! The app is also amazing and very user friendly, I have my whole house mapped, I can run it everywhere or only in portions, it really is a great investment. I am very pleased and highly recommend it.

Works really well. The only thing that I could say is that sometimes had some software issues.

I bought and exchanged a few of these last year before ultimately returning it yesterday and going back to the most basic Roomba. The mopping feature just isn’t a good fit for a home with rugs—it struggles to navigate properly and constantly has trouble getting back to its charging base. When it does make it back, it often doesn’t line up correctly with the charger, so it ends up dying. Since it’s supposed to run automatically while I’m away, I’d often forget to check on it—until I noticed my floors were still dirty. I got tired of the constant troubleshooting. Now, I use a simple, no-frills Roomba. I can just pick it up, press the button, and let it go. Sometimes, less really is more. We ended up disabling the mopping altogether since our house just isn’t suited for it with all the rugs.

My mother in law loves this vacuum so much she even named it Ruby lol. Rubys battery lasts a great time & hold a great amount of debris before having to empty her. She gets to all angles of the house without crashing, failing or being too loud. We can watch movies or work from home without an obnoxious noise. Ruby is super easy to assemble & easily controlled thru the touch of a smart phone screen. Were able to lay a diagram for her to clean without worry that she may not clean up any messes along the way

A feature that we didn’t know it has is the virtual map that will actually send you a picture to the app so you can see what the obstacles are

The IRobot works great! It was easy to assemble and the mapping was very simple. I had an issue with it not charging one day but I read the directions on the app on troubleshooting, and I was able to get it going again. It was a simple fix! It cleans well, sometimes it will leave stuff behind but for the most part it does good job. It does a good job mopping, I am pretty satisfied with that. I would definitely recommend it.

I've been using this robot for a few months it's working very well. First vacuum robot with map so I'm very happy with my purchase

Great product. Only draw down is that you have to take care of it pretty regularly. But I guess that is the price you pay for not getting the vacuum disposal.

Great job for maintaining clean up on flooring and carpet

I wanted a roomba for my upstairs. Thought this would be a good one. Iisue...Doesn't seem to stay charged long. And it doesn't recognize to return to the base for a re-charge. Otherwise seems to vacuum well.

So far everything has been great. Still learning how to program but I think I have it now

Amazing product! I don't have an iphone so i can't use the advanced features, but even without them, it's a great appliance! It vacuums my rooms from top to bottom - even all the nooks and crannies - while avoiding anything I have on the ground. When it finishes vacuuming, it returns to the base on it's own. It is a little noisy, but it's worth it

I like it for this price, good price and quality, so I could recommend this robot, of course it’s not ideal, but I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect

Great vaccum does great job with pet hair on hardwood floors

I aint going to lie if you have a toddler this product will be a very expensive toy for them

I like the geolocation feature when i leave out. It'll clean the areas i specify upon me leaving. The target cleaning feature is also a plus. Mapping has definitely improved on the newer models and how often it runs into things has almost dissappeared. Great in between mopping is a great benefit to have with this model as well .

It worked great the first three months that I’ve had it. Now it’s not working anymore. I can’t figure out what’s wrong with it
