It works very well on hard wood floor, tiled floor and a rough surface also. The extent to which it picks up the dirt is very minute. When I opened it up to get the brushes cleaned I was surprised to see the dirt collected including the hair. A 5* product worth buying...

I don't have an iphone so i can't use the advanced features, but even without them, it's a great appliance! It vacuums my rooms from top to bottom - even all the nooks and crannies - while avoiding anything I have on the ground. When it finishes vacuuming, it returns to the base on it's own. It is a little noisy, but it's worth it

I replaced brushes, cleaned the unit, kept it up. Then, suddenly, last month the vacuum just stopped running. No error message, no obvious problems, just plays its sound like it’s going to go and then remains completely still and no responsive. Lots of other robotic vacuum options out there, I’d consider a different on other than iRobot.

It'll clean the areas i specify upon me leaving. The target cleaning feature is also a plus. Mapping has definitely improved on the newer models and how often it runs into things has almost dissappeared. Great in between mopping is a great benefit to have with this model as well .
