really like this robot and I come home all clean, I recommend it, it vacuums and mops.

Vacuum and floor plan mapping works great. App is awesome, obstacle avoidance is awesome. Mopping is streaky unless you use the ultra feature, which burns through cleaning solution too fast and will not complete a 600 sq ft job.

Compared to other lower priced models, there's no much difference. Wouldnt pay the extra

We have owned this for a year and LOVE it! It cleans the floors well and is fairly unobtrusive.

After back surgery I was unable to do the daily vacuuming. Now with the rumba we no longer have a dog hair problem and the floors are always taken care of automatically. The scheduling of the rumba is easy to set up and it’s set it and forget it.

I have owned two other Roombas in the past and also the Braava (see my other reviews, horrible device). I actually really like these devices and do not use them as much anymore, due to the fact I turned to stick cordless vacs and mops. However, when I saw an all in one combination from iRobot, I jumped at the chance to test it out. Here is my assessment: Pros: This is some of the most innovative technology you will ever find on the market, an all in one robot that maps your entire house, has a camera on the front to sense objects in its way and also can sense when it is about to go on to the carpet and lifts its mopping device up so its just a vacuum. I mean you cannot get better than that and forget the knock offs, they dont work and they dont do as good a job. Plus this device is so smart, it syncs with Alexa or Google and can sense if its about to go through a pet waste mess and steers around it? I mean this is smart, and Roomba takes the cake as the best of the best. Everything from the smart app with all the bells and whistles to the full house mapping, scheduling, self emptying docking station etc. After you map your house, this device can be scheduled to vacuum daily or weekly. Plus this device can hold a charge and can hold dirt and debris and goes back to its dock to empty automatically. Gets in hard to reach places and under chairs and tables etc. Cons: With any smart device there is going to be issues and this device has some. Yes its smart, holds fluid and cleaning solution to mop, but not sure how good a job that does on wood floors, leaves streaks at times, sometimes doesnt lower mop on hard wood and ends up just vacuuming, also leaves balls of dog hair on rugs and does not sweep up everything, I see plenty of dirt after this is done going over the floors. The jury is still out if I need to ditch my stick vaccs entirely or keep them to almost clean up after this thing is done. Fluid cannister hard to push back in, awkward design. Mapping the house and designating rooms is a pain and cumbersome. Mapping out obstacles is sort of a pain. Still in all this is a smart vacuum and I do like the innovation.

Before I start this review I want to say: everyone has a specific use case and this bot just happened to work for mine. I have primarily all carpet with only some tile in the kitchen area. I had originally purchased a Roborock S7 MaxV but I had to return it because the mopping pad would always wet the carpet. I have rather low pile carped and it still managed to track water randomly over carpet especially when it did its little hops. There's no danger of that with this iRobot. Also, because of the dual-roller design, this is an unbeatable bot on carpet. The mop did well enough to work between my deep cleans. Pro-tip: I have a very small and quiet fan that I have sitting near the machine. I use an eve plug to automate the fan to go on for about 3 hours after the bot returns home to dry out the mop. This way I don't need to remove the mop or empty the water tank after every run. It cleans about 7 times before I need to refill the water tank (again, I only have a little bit of tile) so for me, this makes it more hands-free. Hopefully iRobot can automate the drying process in future generations of this bot as this would make it more hands-off

Very good vacuum. Was very easy to set up. The only 2 things that I would change would be having a bagless bin and automatic cleaner fill.

This is my second Romba. Went for the top of the line with all the bells and wistles. Im glad i did. Does a good job mopping as well.

Best thing ever… don’t have to worry about cleaning just set a schedule and forget it about it

It vacuums decently. The mop feature is a joke. Leaves wet and dry streaks all over my floor.

Is a great addition to your house as it will vacuum and mop your floors if you want a break from doing it yourself. I have noticed that it cleans better on my carpet than my floors. This thing is louder than I expected as well. I think you’re paying for the technology instead of the quality of the product.
