Does a pretty good job of pushing the dust bunnies around, but leaves crumbs behind. Maybe it’s still learning, but doesn’t seem to vacuum the entire spaces.

ZERO STARS! Nothing but problems. Purchased less than a month ago. Worked ok (not great) for the first week or so. Vacuum function is alright, but mopping doesn't work at all. It gets stuck when there's nothing in its way. Has issues returning to the docking station. It says the dust bag is full when there's nothing in it. Contacted support and am waiting for a replacement. DO NOT PURCHASE.

This is the worst robo vac I have ever purchased and the most expensive. I thought for this amount of money it would be smarter than the rest and it simply isn’t. Not only can I not see the map as it’s cleaning, but I also can’t remote control it to where I need it to clean. Don’t waste your money on this product.

Awesome vaccum and it the software is farely easy to use.

Do it buy. I’ve been buying iRobot products for years and after a year or so they just stop working properly. Even though I do regular maintenance. Right out of the box, side brush did not work and had to call iRobot for replacement motor. A month or so later, map pad stopped working. I contacted iRobot again but this time they would not help me other then giving me care links.

It did a decent job in the beginning. Not great at vacuuming or mopping but enough for everyday cleaning. After a couple months it would say the bag was dirty and needed to be changed or that there is no bag installed. I put in new bags didn’t help and the robot would not work because it couldn’t empty. I called support and they said they would send me a new base. After a week I received a power cord in the mail. Not remotely the problem. So I brought it back with my total tech and ordered the roborock. Best Buy was great about the return.

Not worth it. It's not as smart as claimed. Too expensive

I purchased the combo j7 product. I set up the mapping but i still had to sweep and mop after it because it missed several areas. The final staw was when it smeared my puppy’s poop all over the floor and area rug…it was supposed to detect and sweep around it. Not worth the money

Unpacking - The J7+ was packaged nicely, the contents were nicely separated so you can easily identify the items needed in the order needed. The instructions were very easy to read and follow. The most important thing to remember is the placement of the charging station because it needs room to move away from the station and position itself before starting mapping or cleaning functions. Contents: Extra mopping pad, extra HEPA filter, extra edge cleaning brush and a couple of samples of cleaning solution packets. After the charging station is placed and plugged in it must charge and start up before you can set the robot up via the app. A key feature of the the J7+ is the mapping feature because it determines the speed and cleanliness of the unit. Mapping of the home takes the most amount of time because the home is mapped twice. The area mapped for the J7+ was approximately 1000sf, after mapping I made a few edits to name the rooms and area as well us added no mop areas. Another nice feature is that you can set the mop to vacuum and mop or just vacuum. The Robot knows the type of surface it is on and adjusts accordingly. When using the mopping feature you have to add the mopping pad and cleaning solution in the reservoir. During mopping I had to fill the reservoir a second time to make sure it cleaned well. The app is very powerful for the J7+, it provides battery levels, liquid levels and you use it to tell vacuum to go back to station. Overall, this is a great iRobot vacuum if you have a space that needs vacuuming and cleaning more often. The space I use this vacuum in is the living room, hallway, kitchen and Den with open space. I have pets and this vacuum does a decent job with cleaning and mopping if done often. I'll have it clean automatically at least three times a week to keep the area clean. A cool feature is it also drains/empties the vacuum. Maintenance is required based on the provided schedule in the user guides. Based on the price of the unit, you will need to purchase additional items in order to maintain and keep functional. The unit is great and saves times however there are times when it missed some debris but not a game changer. I highly recommend this unit if you want automated cleaning.
