Unboxing: Charger, Dock, and Vacuum (along with usual quick start manuals.) Setup: Note! MUST connect to a 2.4GHz Router not a 5GHz. Download the app “iRobot.” The app walks you through step-by-step how to set it up, connect to your router and make a schedule. Use: It has a strong motor and picks up a lot of dirt. It’s height is good to get under most furniture. The side broom grabs against walls without damaging them. Unless the floors are more dirty than usual, I can clean about 1800 sq ft on one charge. But no to worry, if it can finish the job it will dock itself (and send you a notification). iRobot App: The app is good. It does initial set up, allows you to start to clean remotely (from anywhere) and edit the schedule. It sends you notifications if it’s stuck and if you can’t find it (rare occasion it dies somewhere or gets stuck, you can make it play a noise to locate it). Overall: I shopped between all the brands and models. Read all the reviews on multiple sites. I’m happy that I went with this model so far (1 month of use).

Finally picked up the Roomba, went with the “pet hair“ version and oh my goodness, we thought our floors were clean. Boy were we wrong. Does an amazing job getting under the furniture, didn’t get stuck even we were sure it was, found it’s way home every time so far with an amazing amount of dust & per hair

This vacuum was our first try of the robotic variety and I was greatly skeptical since we have indoor pets. I will have to boldly say that it has surprised us by being amazing at keeping our floors clean. We usually start it in the mornings and let it make a go of the house and then we mop a few of those days after it's done. It has decreased my time spent on manual housework so much that I am now thinking of trying out the robotic mops. I am thoroughly enjoying the extra time spent playing and laughing with our son rather than mundane housework! Great buy for sure!!

I am impressed about its cleaning. Roomba is very easy to set up and clean.

This is our second roomba. Couldn’t be without a robot vacuum after our first one. It’s wonderful for daily maintenance. If you’re on the fence about a robot vacuum, go for it. It’s one of those things that once you have one, you’ll wonder how you got by without one before. For this model, it works as expected. I can schedule the vacuum to run once a day. It cleans most of the house most of the time. I do find it can have issues returning back to its docking station when complete. But it’s not a big issue for me and I’d recommend this product.

So the vacuum cleaner works...picks up dog hair, grit and other items. However, it does not return to the dock when battery is weak unless it's near the dock. Also, rollers clog up on long hair. My wife has very long hair and it will stope the unit up by wrapping around rollers. Rollers are easily removed to clean though. Overall, I would recommend this.

Works well easy to set up only down side small bin that needs to be emptied every day much better than the older model of irobot I ahd

Absolutely love love this roomba . I have 2 dogs and it cleans the floor nicely. A bit noisy but not to bad . Keeps the house clean

This is the one if you need a great vacuum with features that you actually use. Tried one of the lower end models and did not really clean well so upgraded to this and is the best for the extra money. I would get another one if needed.

The roomba makes cleaning a breeze. The battery life is decent. It picks up debris as it should. My only complaint is that it is not smart enough to remember where the cliffs are in the house or in normal terms it means steps. It often gets stuck in my doorway.

Bought this robot because we have two dogs. One of the dogs sheds constantly and the two of them track in a lot of dirt into the house. This Roomba is easy to use, easy to clean and does an excellent job at cleaning porcelain tile floor. The robot's battery last about 1.5 hours before having to recharge. Once the Roomba goes over a floor area, the dog hair and fine dirt is gone. Overall excellent piece of machinery.

I’ve been using it for a year, so far so good. A bit noisy but I’m ok with that. It does a good job. Highly recommended.

This works great as long as you regularly make sure the path is clear. Sometimes I will find him outin a room and out of power. It is hit and miss in getting back to the charging dock. And I have to remember to empty before the next vac cycle. It does tend to leave clumps of dog hair on rugs.

The iRobot Roomba E5 is a good vaccum for suction and small carpeted areas as it’s navigation system sucks. The sucking power is high, but it wastes energy by randomly roaming around same areas leaves out some areas Completely. I returned mine and bought a Deebot.

I’ve been wanting to get a Roomba for the longest time & i finally got it. Although it doesn’t have the mapping system is working wonderfully. I turn it on and off she goes, no particular pattern so i try not to watch or it will drive me insane but after sometime i look and it has covered the entire area. I have noticed that it works faster when I restrict it to smaller areas so i just close doors of the areas she doesn’t need to go and let her clean area by area. I think is much better for me that way than to let her go for a longer amount of time throughout the entire first floor. I also don’t use the scheduling option because my dog gets too nervous around Roomba, so when i use her i tried to be around so he can “hide” with me. As far as the vacuuming itself, is great! It picks up everything! We just moved to a new place so my house was full of dust, cardboard tiny pieces, dirt from us the movers going in & out the backyard, i have 2 daughters who shed hair more than my dog & all floors are porcelain white so you can see all of it and the Roomba behaves like a champ every time. Now i’m just in maintenance so i run it 2 times a week unless i move furniture around (i’m still trying to find the perfect place for everything). Overall a great purchase, very happy with it and certainly not regrets.

Ok vacuum. Cleans well but the battery doesn’t last that long and for some reason it never returns itself to the base to recharge. I have to manually carry it back to the base every time. Pretty annoying and kind of defeats the purpose.
