Great for a small layout. Very powerful and excellent with carpets. If you have a small apartment, there is no need to upgrade higher than this model. It will clean the whole floor in relatively the same amount of time as its smarter relatives at a way lower price.

My girlfriend has a iRobot and raved about it and then I saw how well it worked. After awhile I decided I would get one. Upon using it I found it to be excellent in vacuming rugs and hard floors. I liked mine soo much I got my daughter one as a surprise which she now enjoys.

The vacuum does a pretty good job of cleaning, only complaint I would have is that the Roomba cleaning patterns make no sense. Other than that it’s great.

I am not giving it a five only because when I tell it to go home it goes all over the place and I have to pick it up and take it home! That’s the only improvement it needs.

The Roomba is fantastic. Just push "Clean" and it finds its way around various spaces, avoiding cliffs, and returns "Home" safely to the charging unit. I then empty the trash compartment and filter, which is always full of dog hair, dust, and other particles and am done. My mother was skeptical about it since it doesn't travel in straight lines so she sat and watched it for about two hours from start to finish and is now a believer. The only reason it is not 5 starts is that before I bought it customer service told me it was the Black Friday price, but later they lowered the price. So, it's more about customer service than the product.

Bought this for my daughter as a gift.She lives in another state.,so I didnt get the pleasure of watching her review it myself ..however,she says" its nice "but has trouble when it encounters her shag rug.It is only programmable for one room at a time.She has four floors so that is problematic for her.I am told " it is very loud while in use" and turning up the tv volume does not resolve the issue.It also gets stuck under her refridgerator and a small shelf in the livingroom.It is voice controlled but has issues taking commands.Hope to return this soon.{unfortunately}this is not for her.

Great little vaccum. Put mostly hard woods in my house and this js way better then trying to mop or sweep. Keeps the space clean and only have run it once or twice a week. Make sure you empty it though because it doesn't work well if it gets to full.

The Roomba e5 is a very easy to operate instrument. It does clean deeply on the carpet. I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of dirt it picked up. The charge did last for a good time and it did not fall down the stairs towards the basement.

I love my roomba! If I would buy it again I would get the kind that dumps out the trash it collects by itself. I like to put it in a room and close the door so it’s away from the base. It runs longer and vacuums the floor

It works really well and cleans. Sucking power is strong. The downside is that some of the dust goes to the air, and it does random walk. Furthermore, the 90 minutes battery life is enough only for one or two rooms. Given that it is a low price model, I highly recommend it.

So, the box says multi surface. This is correct if you have some rugs that are not to thick. The convenience of this little guy cleaning your home as you work is amazing! I do have a thick rug in the living room the Robot I named "James" will clean the whole house and just run into the edges of the rug and go around it. So the whole 1st floor is clean with exception of the rug in the living area. My sup stairs is carpet and I do bring James up stairs and let him go crazy. He cleans the up stairs great as well. Guess if he starts on the carpet he is good but getting from the the hard wood to the carpet the 1/4 to 1/2 inch step up is to much for him. Overall I love it!

Easily picks up after two cats in 500 sq ft apartment. Tends to snag the edges of small rugs and have difficulty navigating under chair legs. Good product for the amount you pay.

I've been wanting a Roomba for years, but wasn't sure the price matched the results. So I researched and shopped Costco and Sams looking at all the reviews and feed-back until I chose Best Buy's deal. I'm in love with my "Rosy" (named after the Jetsons's cartoon), Roomba! She gets so much dirt and hair picked up that my allergies have improved so much. Even my daughter said she does a better job than her "vaccuming". Rosie was programmed using the wifi and app and she hasnt let me down yet. The app was easy to navigate and use. The key is cleaning her well after each use and charging right away. She's gotten stuck under my bed a couple of times but I placed items that she can't get through. I highly recommend this model!

Stopped working in less than 2 years. Needed to be put back in charger regularly.

Cleans rooms well until sensor detects room is finished. The only downside is the noise that comes with it so clean when you’re not at home or if the noise doesn’t bother you.

Purchased this item for my mother. She is a pet owner of 2 large dogs and six cats. She sweeps her house daily to remove the cat and dog hairs but now with the Roomba, she has it programmed to go off every morning at 9am an when she goes downstairs her house is cleaned. She is super excited!

Great irobot, requires a bit more attention when having kids and a dog but helps alot specially with dog hair. I wish the battery would last longer.

It is fun to watch it go around. Picks up lots of dust that you would not really notice. It does what is expected. Not a deep clean, but takes care of the day to day build up. great for going under beds/areas that typically get neglected.

My biggest dislike about this product is it doesn't "sense " furniture, walls, ect. IT CRASHES INTO THEM AND BOUNCES OFF. I am REALLY IRRITATED AT THAT. It has knocked things off the shelf, moved chairs, chipped paint, a lot of issues. It hits stuff WAY TOO HARD!!! It gets lost rather easily, too. It has yet to "map " my home ,if this is even a feature, and yes, it is LOUD!!. As loud as any vacuum cleaner. Luckily, I paid the lowest price available for this item, so basically, I got what i paid for.

Definitely worth the money. It’s not a Dyson or Shark that you push around, so don’t expect it to completely take over your chores, but if you let it vacuum once or twice daily, it’ll save you a whole lot of time when you do deep cleaning.
