Fine on hard surfaces. Might eat your rug

Decent but returned

I returned it due to it vacuuming for 1.5 hrs and spending 20 minutes of that in a single 3’ area. Skipped numerous areas and just didn’t feel like it was worth the investment without it mapping the area out.

We own a robot

Does a fantastic job on hard floors

It does not do as well on carpet, and I usually go back over my area rugs with a traditional vacuum to get them clean. I’ve had no problem with Roomba not finding its way back to base, and found the setup and scheduling to be very easy.

Enjoying our first evac

I can be cleaning while it vacuums. I don't like that it has no pattern in cleaning. Also, it takes a while to find the base. The base is light weight so the evac pushes the base out of the way when it tries to dock. Hope it lasts a while and then we can explore something different.
