But still very useful if you are around to empty out the bin. Or pay more money and get the one that automatically empties it.

She has used it more and more over the past few months. We have a 4 bedroom/2 bath 1800 square foot home, and it roams every room - carpeted/tiled/hardwood with ease. Cats have gotten used to it and move to different room when it 'attacks' them. Highly recommend. Cats could care less.

Very entertaining Robot!

We have watched it for extended periods, encouraged it's diverse actions, and my wife has even found herself talking to it. Very rewarding, and it's cleaaning action is superb. Haven't even tried the WiFi yet.

Can be a bit rough

The rubber brushes where a bit harsh on my rugs. Because it would rub off so much carpet pile the bin would fill and it would end up just pushing around little piles of carpet bunnies before it was finished its cycle. Also, If you're used to a 690...the bin door is a bit smaller on the 5e. I pretty much had to pick out the bin with my fingers. I was able to fix my "beloved" 690 so all is well. Oh and for the record; you can't beat Roombas. We have 3 pug dogs and our 690 has been a champ for many years now. We also have another brand of robot vacuum...good but no Roomba.
