I honestly regret not spending a little more on an i3 series model or any product with smart navigation where the vacuum will travel in an organized pattern as well as map your home and not bounce randomly around the room. I’m using this in a small apartment and assumed it wouldn’t be an issue. Most of the time it will miss spots and get stuck in tight areas where it will only turn 180 degrees to keep hitting the same obstacles repeatedly. It’s even more frustrating how hard it will sometimes ram furniture. That’s my biggest complaint. It cleans better than I was expecting, and the app makes using it extremely convenient, but that does not matter too much due to the inferior navigation. On top of that it is moderately noisy, especially on wood floors, and usually cannot find the home base on its own. Which means it will run longer than necessary resulting in more noise and bumping into furniture. I truly underestimated the smart navigation, don’t make the same mistake I did.

We bought this vacuum and have been running it for about a week and a half now. It is FANTASTIC!!!! The extended battery life and larger debris bin are a great addition to the iRobot. We have 2 cats , one long hair , and I picked up almost nothing when I ran our regular vacuum over the floor. Which means the iRobot e5 is doing a perfect job. Having that daily clean from the Roomba is a huge time saver. I love it so much I will be buying a second one for upstairs.

I bought this thinking that it would just keep my floors clean, but when I started using it, I realized how helpful this vacuum is to have around.

I was excited to get this as a birthday gift. I have the mopping roomba and I love it. This this makes more of a mess than it cleans. It bulldozes over uneven surfaces like the legs of the chairs and the base of the coffee table and whenever it does it dumps a pile of dirt on the floor. I’m glad I don’t have carpet because it would probably dump the dirt around even more. It cannot find it’s home and it just circles and circles and it again dumps piles of dirt near its base. I highly recommend the mopping one but this is just TRASH.
