Overall good machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not good for sucking up dog sheet My puppy thought it would be a good idea to do a devious lick right in front of it and track it all over the house. Acted defective, so we were going to throw it out. We decided to keep it because it was too expensive. As for the roomba, we tried to wash it and continue to use it, but that just made matters worse. I’m rating it a 0/5. The roomba gets a 3/5 for hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. I have no pictures of this incident, unfortunately. Needs a large object detector to prevent this global problem.

Staying with the shark
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gave the shark ion r76 a bad review but after trying both the roomba and the deebot I am staying with the shark for now. The shark has a buggy app and some sensor error messages which can be annoying but it cleans way better than the rest with less hassle. The roomba e5 won't go over my flat rug in my living room, the sensors keep avoiding it and when I put it on manually it drags. The shark goes over the rug just fine without avoiding it and doesn't drag. The shark also goes over a thick shag rug I have. The deebot won't go over the ridge on my fireplace where the roomba and shark both do. So as far as hassles go the shark has excelled so far.

Upgrade to better model if you can

I bought this to do second floor bedrooms only, but battery dies before it can complete, due to many repeated failed attempts to maneuver around an obstacle, and it does not return to charger when battery gets low. Has yet to finish the job even once, while 900 series has no issues completing same task.

The e5 is Junk

My 960 remains functional and hope it only needs a new battery (4y old) to extend times between necessary chargings.
