The i3 was a replacement for a previous model that was four years old. This model was selected as a replacement because an 'old' dog had been added to the household and the previous model simply did not do a good job of cleaning up dog hair. The i3 cleans an approximate 500 sq foot area that is made up of hardwood floors, hardwood floors with rugs, a full carpeted room as well as kitchen and bath with tiled floor. It does an excellent, thorough cleaning job in each of the areas. It goes over the same spot a couple of times in the rooms that the dog can access. Those areas are as clean as any of the others. This does not seem to be randomly cleaning the same spots again. The app is a relatively simple design that is easy to use. Because of the large area to be cleaned the ability to recharge itself while in the process of cleaning and resuming where it left off is an additional benefit.

Im very happy with my purchase, the app is vety esay to use and programing, only thing I didnt like , the vacum cleaner is very noise. I Will recommend if you dont have problem with that.

I absolutely love my roomba. Was iffy on spending the money on it but totally worth it!

Perhaps a newer model is better, but this one is so frustrating that I’m shopping for a cordless floor sweeper. It meanders for hours and I still find things it’s missed. I’ve put pieces of lint in the middle of the floor only to see that it’s missed it completely. Keep in mind, I’ve had this item for nearly a year and it has a smart map created. I’ve watched it wander around for 40 minutes on its way to sweep the next room. Can’t recommend this item.

Simple to use, works great! I owned an older Roomba, replaced it with this one and couldn't be happier!

I have had no problems with it so far. We did not know which roomba to go with at first. We felt like maybe we would miss out on certain features from the i7. If you have never had a robo vac this is a great start. If you already have a roomba and want to up grade, maybe an i7 is for you. For someone who had never had any experience with them its solid. Hard wood, carpet, rugs have all been vacuumed in our house.

Bday gift for my daughter she loves it and my grandkids to since it took off part of their shores.

I absolutely love this purchase. I have not used any of the scheduling features because we have pets and I want to be home in case they get stressed. This works great on pet hair. I only use it a couple times a week, but I really like it. I have done maintenance cleaning and it is super easy. I did use the "help" feature on the app (also easy to use) and the customer service was amazing! Would def recommend!

Works very well for the price. We run it once a day and it keeps up pretty well with our 3 dogs.

Great roomba! Cleans up great. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs and it picks up a good amount of pet hair.
