Disappointing after Roomba 980

While the new options are exciting and user friendly, this Roomba does not clean as well as the 980. Debris (small crumbs and dog hairs) are left behind near table legs and small clumps are left on area rug. I have been a Roomba lover for years and hope to always have one. This model has been a disappointment.

After 30 Days Started Malfunctioning

It got trapped under chairs a lot. It failed to run its daily schedule for no reason (no error codes). It would report that the bin was full when it wasn't, even after we cleaned the bin sensors. I think it was just a single bad unit because the one we replaced it with has been flawless. Still a huge time saver.

Our new pet Rumba, one of the family now

It was a little tricky setting up schedules but the trick is be patient. We gave up after I set up for it to start cleaning at 4am twice a week and then it started working fine. Very pleased with it on tile and carpet and with 2 dawgs it needs to be emptied after 2 sessions.

Automated cleaning is the BEST

Gone are the days where I would wake up and be frustrated about the dust on the floor, or stepping in whatever dirt the dog tracks in. With the roomba, we’ve automated our cleaning practices so Jarvis cleans every morning while we’re sleeping. This has saved us so much time. 10/10, will definitely recommend.
