Romba vacuum cleaner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like it. I only wish the battery lasted longer. It goes for about 75 minutes. So with all it breaks to charge it takes several hours to clean my downstairs. Great if you have dogs! Does well on the carpet as well hardwoods. Easy to use and setup maps for the different areas.

Gotta Love This Thing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I purchased this I had the funny feeling that it wasn't going to be very good, but WOW, I love it! Toughest part is letting it map your house and then labeling the rooms. From that point, it's just crazy what this can do and how well it can do it. We have a puppy, large and it sure keeps up with the work. We have the Roomba that you have to clean out the container and we do it after each cleaning along with cleaning the filter as best as possible. I feel those two things will give you maximum efficiency. Yup, if you want to save yourself work and have good looking floors, this is the way to go. BTW, most of our house in hardwood flooring. It does carpeting pretty darn well also.

Roomba i7 is almost amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.3 stars because it works nicely, but you must have internet and wifi to get your money’s worth. Cleans very well. Actually picks up more than our regular vacuum. More efficient than I would have thought. Roomba i7 bumped around for the first few times then “learned” the layout of the house. What nobody will tell you is internet and wifi is required to access any settings. Without wifi all you can do is push “CLEAN” and it goes. With wifi you can set schedules, view where it’s cleaned, remote start from your phone. So not being able to access any functions is the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars. I could have gotten a $300 robot vacuum to only run while I’m standing there by it. And the 3 people I talked to in the store should have told me that when I asked. If I could find good internet way out here this robot would be amazing.

Pet lovers greatest assistant
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have 2 dogs so vacuuming the house is a constant chore. Our old robot vacuum couldn't keep up so we purchased a new Roomba. This thing is so advanced. No more needing lighthouses or virtual wall devices, this thing makes aN interactive map of your home! You can label the rooms, add zones which regularly need extra cleaning or zones to keep out of. The vacuum itself is very quite. The brushes are rubber, no bristles for things to get cought up in. The only con I have is the size of the bin, it's smaller than our original so we have to empty it typically when it takes it's charge break mid cleaning cycle. The companion app is simple to use and allows you to start the Roomba even when you're not home. It also allows you to schedule cleanings of either everywhere or specific rooms and zones. Definitely worth every penny. I think I'll be getting the dirt bin collection base though in the future. Pairs great with the Braava Jet M series.

My first robot vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this model over the newer and older models based on its functions and pricing. The newer model doesn't seem to add much other than a automatic disposal system for a couple extra hundreds. Pros: - Easy to remove and clean garbage bin - Strong suction (for my plaster floors) - Easy maintenance (tons of hair tend to coil in it, easy to remove) - Decent app - Great mapping system, learns fast - Love the feature for it to clean only specific rooms - Works with Alexa Cons: - Easily scratched - Battery drains fast - Charges a bit slow - Does not clean well in corners In my experience, it has yet to get stuck anywhere. It only got stuck when it was turned on in an area far from its original charging station. The noise isn't too bad, sounds like your standard vacuum. Be aware that it has a small garbage bin, so for people with larger houses with pets I do recommend getting the automatic disposal system with this unit. Additionally, you will need to babysit it during its first initial runs. All in all, its worth its hefty price tag.

The Robot Vacuum That Can
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mapping functionality works fantastically, although when you move its home base it can get a little confused the first time around. If you re-arrange the room around the home base, the Roomba will learn the room again next time it cleans. The ability to digitally add "keep out" and "clean" zones is awesome. You can make sure the Roomba doesn't go into areas that you don't want it to, and you can tell it to clean specific small areas of your home that are prone to dirt (such as a rug at the front door). This Roomba is a little bit more aggressive than other ones I have owned in the past. It definitely hits objects harder.

LOVE it! Stop hesitating, just buy it!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s like having a maid. LOL. We have 2 white haired dogs and dark wood floors throughout our main living areas, needless to say we must vacuum quite often. “Hazel” is my favorite appliance. She lasts a good amount of time before needing to recharge, but if she isn’t finished she just goes back to the charging dock and restarts where she left off when she is back to charged. She yells at me to empty her bin when needed, but only enough to let me know, not forever to make me annoyed. Picks up all the dirt, hair, stuff with no problem. Gets herself out of most spots so doesn’t get stuck often. She also does a great job getting over door jambs, cords, etc. great job on carpet also. We want to get a 2nd one for upstairs where it’s all carpet. Might splurge for the self emptying one up there so she can run on schedule and more often. Stop hesitating, just buy it!

My house is clean!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my i7 Roomba. I had the entry model, but this upgrade is much more thorough and effective. My house, rugs and floor both, has never been so clean. Initially I thought I wouldn’t need the automatic emptying attachment, but I was wrong. The debris holder had to be emptied in the middle of a job, which means I’d have to be home and attending, so I added the attachment. It works perfectly. I’ve been happily running the vacuum 3 times a week in my 1800 square foot apartment. It takes about 5 hours to do the whole place with breaks for emptying and recharging. I can also specify rooms, which cuts the time in half or less. My only complaint is that the app was initially awkward to use, and even though this product is great, it’s awfully expensive.

I7
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ran amazing until after 2 years. It started getting lost and could not find its way back to its home base. Wish the bin was a bit bigger. Just purchased j7 to see how it is

It cant get much easier
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the i7 Roomba after extensively researching all of the available models. What set this apart from the rest was the mapping feature in the software. Being able to have it clean certain rooms in the house sets it well above the rest. As for how it preforms I am highly satisfied. There simply aren't words to describe being able to come home to clean floors every day. As anyone with pets and laminate flooring will know keeping the hair clumps from piling up against the base boards is a constant battle. This vacuum keeps it under control and does it autonomously. Not to mention the rubber rollers mean I don't have to get into the nitty gritty to untangle the brush. All in all I couldn't recommend this product more to anyone.

Vacumn
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Takes a bit to get to understand the app and the mapping. My only critique would be if she could discover new areas without needing to have her clean everywhere every single time. Plus, I've noticed just because you press the home button on the machine does not necessarily mean it will head back to the home base; It will do it automatically via the app. FYI: it would have been nice for the price you pay for this machine, if she had come with at least a replacement spinning brush, the cleaning brush, and wheel. Besides that, love the ability to map the home, create groups, schedule when she cleans. Honestly, she picks up so much dirt, she is better than a regular vacumn and manual sweeping combined. Very impressed.

Solid choice

Great Robot!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This robot is the best! It learned our house in two days and now cleans rooms based on the day I time I set. This thing never gets stuck, always finds its way back to it's base and cleans like a boss. If you are in the market for a robot I would suggest not looking any further. We had bought a cheaper deebot a couple years ago and I wish I would have just saved that money and bought the I7. The deebot while it did clean well in the spots that it went to, had no idea where it was so cleaned over the same spot a lot, often got stuck, and hardly ever made it back to home base to recharge. Trust me on this just stop looking at other cheaper robots and just get the Roomba I7. This thing rocks!

Great robot despite small issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comparing to cheap robot, this one cleans way better, moves more efficiently, have better app and it’s rarely stuck somewhere. However, there are few issues: - brushes are able to pickup much bigger trash than trash bay is able to receive. The robot will stop in this case. Thus your need to remove small toys from the floor - There is no possibility to add a room in existing map. Make sure all your rooms are open and accessible during first few runs

Dog owners in love with this roomba
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife is so happy “Santa” brought our house this roomba i7. We have a 1-yr old lab and Rosie, our roomba, helps tremendously. The set up was very easy with an iPhone and the app is great so far. I would recommend having the roomba do the “mapping run” for the first few times. It won’t be cleaning, but will be quicker to learn your house layout so you can start dividing your house into separate rooms. We love the fact that you can have the roomba clean certain areas or rooms, instead of the entire house. Our child isn’t the cleanest of eaters, and for some reason our dog rarely cleans up all the crumbs, so the kitchen and dining room get more attention. We did notice Rosie had some difficulty navigating our kitchen island stools (they have a much different base than a standard 4-legged stool), so we decided to just move those out of the way when we wanted the roomba come out and vacuum. I also love that you can designate areas not to vacuum, like areas with a lot of wires or tight spaces, and can change those areas when, for instance, you put the Christmas tree up. We have engineered hardwood floors. Our dog has proven that they can be easily scratched, however we haven’t seen any damage from the roomba. It also does a good job of vacuuming our carpet and area rugs. It’s amazing how much dog hair this thing picks up each time. As far as noise goes, it is slightly louder on the hardwood floors, but nothing that is extreme. It is a vacuum, so it sounds like a vacuum. On carpet, it is quieter and overall our dog isn’t bothered by it. Overall, we love this thing. My wife comments often about loving the fact she can be doing something while Rosie is cleaning our bathroom, etc. Luckily, I was able to purchase the roomba when it was on a great sale...$200 off before Christmas. So it is definitely worth the $400 we, I mean Santa, spent on it. Side note: I wrote this review while Rosie cleaned our dining room and kitchen. Love her!

Fantastic product. Be sure to get the Clean Base.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third Roomba over 20 years, and I am generally happy with them. The features of the i7 are excellent, and the cleaning is quite good for a robot vacuum. My major complaint was the size of the dustbin. Four stars. Then we bought the Clean Base for it. I can't say enough good things about it. The Roomba's program runs. When the dustbin is full or the battery runs low it goes home, empties the dustbin, recharges if necessary, and continues running its program. The only problem with awarding five stars is that I wish there was a higher rating. What a fantastic product.

I love this new Roomba!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a Roomba fan, and this is my third. My first was a first generation model that has long ago died. I am also using a 600 series Roomba, but it is very loud. This new member of my Roomba family is very quiet and very effective at cleaning. I haven't yet started to use the app to control the unit. I have just turned in on every morning as I leave my room, and it cleans the master bedroom and my den. I cannot believe how much it picks up. With 4 cats in the house, it collects a lot of fur. I love it! The negative is the price. I did get it on sale, but it is pricey.

Gets the job done!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our first robot vacuum and I did a lot of research before settling on which one to purchase. I have to say, I have been very pleased with the Roomba i7. It has impressive cleaning power for its size and the room mapping feature really improves how the vacuum navigates over time. Set up was super simple with the Roomba app. It is a lot of money to lay out for a vacuum, but we use it just about every other day to pick up the crumbs that the kids scatter throughout the house.
