Vacuum has done a good job mapping the area and getting to all areas. If you have a dog that sheds expect to empty the debri bin A LOT. Didn’t really pay it too mind the first run and dog hair clogged the vacuum to the point where nothing would go into the debri bin. If you constantly empty the bin it does a good job and is convenient

We’ve used this Roomba several times so far but haven’t had a chance to take advantage of all its features. It cleans up pretty well, however it gets full and/or runs out of charge before it has finished up cleaning the entire floor. Guess the next purchase would be the self-emptying station. We have a chocolate Lab who sheds profusely.

I am very happy with this product. I do think the self empty base would be nice. It runs around the house and picks up a lot of dirt and animal hair our cat leaves around. It is a little noisy but l can live with that since l have a lot of area to vacuum . It helps a lot. It has a little trouble getting on the base once in a while but maybe because of our tile floors. Most times it is fine.

I love this iRobot! The app was a little buggy when I first purchased but now the issues are resolved! Love the map it creates of my house and the ability to choose rooms. Very impressed with suction and how it does on picking up debris. The suction isn’t as strong as my Dyson stick vacuum but didn’t expect it to be either.

I love that I can just set a schedule and Roomba can do it’s thing. It is a little noise which I discovered when I set it to run in the middle of the night. I have cats so the bin filled up fairly quickly and needed to be emptied. I wouldn’t be able to let this run while I was away from home.

After owning iRobot products for over a decade, I can safely say that this is the best one they have ever released. The mapping of my home was just so accurate and easy and it just cleans so well, even the dog hair from my 4 dogs. I had to go out and buy the special auto dirt disposal base because I decided I just couldn't live without it and holy cow is it amazing. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!!

I have been using the Roomba i7 for almost 2 yrs now. It cleans fairly well but I have a large dog so it needs to be emptied often. The battery only lasts about 40 minutes of cleaning before heading to base to recharge. It does program it's cleaning map and does a good job of that.

We got the i7 to replace a 10 year old Roomba. It is amazing how much better this is. My old Roomba was essentially a toy that swept debris off the carpet, but this one is a real vacuum cleaner that cleans to a surprising degree. Although it doesn't clean as well as my upright vacuum, it really pulls a lot of dirt and dust from the carpet, and we run it several times a week. The mapping function works extremely well, and I really like the feature that allows me to pick a room for the Roomba to clean. I don't have to spend as much time setting up virtual walls or physical barriers, nor do I have to make sure that all of the rooms are picked up before running the Roomba. I generally run the Roomba either as I'm leaving for work or when we go to bed, and it completes the job 90% of the time. A couple of times it has stopped working because it found something that we didn't clear off the floor beforehand (like a cat toy or a plastic bag), and other times it has trouble reducing in its charging station because it has pushed the dock into a position that makes it inaccessible. That's really just a minor inconvience as it recharges quickly and it is easy to redo the job. It also does an amazing job sweeping our hardwood and tile floors, although it very loud on bare floors. (I can't run it just before going to bed in the kitchen.)

I purchased it and was not expecting it to be so good . I was even thinking of returning it. The dirt it picked up and the level of cleaniness was superb. i did not even realize how dirty my floors are. It is really easy to operate. Just switch it on and then go on with your work. It is really great and I highly recommend it for busy people.

We have a German Shepard that sheds like crazy and we needed a vacuum for our new wood floors. This thing is amazing, our floors are always clean, and it goes over rugs easily. You can schedule times you want it to run, so it can clean while you are away. I definitely recommend getting the self emptying as the dirt bin is very small.

I love my little Mahomie! The one thing I dislike to do is vacuum. I don’t think about it, and when I do, I simply don’t want to do it. Now, I don’t even have to think about it. I set him all up, and like many other reviews, it is very easy to set up with app. Only issue I am having right now is after it is all done I get an error message sayin his bin is full. It completes the job and does a great job at that, but when I get home to empty the bin, it’s really not full. I empty bin, clean the sensor, put bin back in, and he’s good to go for the next scheduled job. I just need to get with customer service on my issue, but to me, it’s really not that big of an issue. If you’re on the fence, buy yourself a little Mahomie! You’ll be glad you did!

it is great if you have an apartment smaller than 1000sqft . The bin is really small and needs to be cleaned after vacuuming every room. If you have pets you might want to get this along with the self emptying dock . No complaints about the suction power, does some real deep vacuuming.

Overall it does clean pretty good. We have a dog so need to empty it sometimes before it finishes its run. Setting up takes a bit of time and some trial and error but once its done you are pretty much set.

I don’t normally write reviews. I have to say I was quite impressed with this vacuum. It did a lot better than I expected. The waste bin is small and needs to be emptied often and you need to be mindful of large debris on the floor that can get trapped in the brushes. Electric cords,shoelaces and such can cause problems. We have 2 Dogs and it does pick up a lot of hair.

Amazing, especially if you have pet hair. We have two labs who shed a lot. This has helped us keep the hair under control. Really love that this roomba creates a map of your house and just doesn’t go back and forth like older models. Also love that is can be controlled by the app. Will be getting the base that empties it here soon.

Love it. It took a couple of tries to get it to map but now it is flawless. Love using google assistant to start it or just clean okie “Crumb Zone”. Upgraddd from the 980 which I could not control to clean just a room and it kept getting stuck on my dishwasher. This one doesn’t have an issue

It's a pricey machine but you're paying for a quality product. We bought the m6 mop too and the combo rocks. These machines clean really well now and are so much better than older versions. The mapping software on this version is so good compared to the old one. My wife loves this machine more than me now.

The vacuum runs on a schedule which is nice. The drawbacks are how often you have to clean it to keep it working properly. Also, if you use the automatic bin extraction base that has to be kept clean or it will stop charging the vacuum.

We got the iRobot Roomba i7 7150 soon after we got a puppy. I found that we were sweeping up downstairs a few times a day to clean up the grass and leaves being tracked inside by our new furry family member. The Roomba i7 allowed us to do the clean up by simply clicking a button on our phone. The pros include great cleaning ability, mapping, the ability to clean just a particular room (after setup), and smart cleaning to go over a section of floor multiple times when the robot determines that it is exceptionally dirty. The cons include a small dirt bin, which requires manually clean out in this model, and the need to prep an area for cleaning so that items aren't in the way of the robot when cleaning begins. Overall, I think this was a great purchase, and I highly recommend it. However, I do think that the most benefit would be gained by a family that is not home during the day. This ensures that the cleaning area can be prepped before cleaning starts and that people won't be in the way of the cleaning process.

Roomba i7 is a fantastic robot vacuum. Its function is well integrated into the app and it is extremely easy to use as it could be done with a swipe of your finger tip. I am surprised by how thorough this robot vacuum can be and satisfied by the purchase. It is a bit pricey compared to other brands.
