Dog hair clogs machine fairly easily, all around fairly satisfied

I wish I would have purchased the self emptying model.

To much maintenance Many time have issues to charge

This robot is so overhyped, it’s always getting stuck and I’m not really happy with its efficiency. Tried to returned it and couldn’t because the box was opened, not buying anything over $100 at Best Buy again.

Spend the money on the i7. It’s well worth the extra cash

For what it’s with, I’ve never reviewed a product before. I’m making an exception here. I bought this $600+ gift for my wife’s birthday. I was asked to order in advance because of COVID, so ordered for delivery on 1/19, even though her birthday was 2/4. We set it up on 2/6, after she got it and it promptly destroyed two of our rugs. When I went to return to Best Buy on 2/11, they informed me that I was stuck with the product because I missed my 15 day window (after 6 phone calls and 3 hrs on hold). I don’t recommend this product but more than that, I DON’T RECOMMEND BEST BUY!! I will never shop here again.

I wanted a Roomba so bad! I had high expectations for this because of the price! I assured my husband it would be better than the Shark floor cleaner we had for cleaning up my golden retriever's magical hair fibers. But after giving it a try for a month, too long to return it to the store for a refund I found out, I'm not impressed. It usually doesn't clean my 1200 square foot main floor, without having to stop. It says it empty it and when I empty it the receptical isn't even full. Then I find little tufts of dog fur all over. Almost like it vacuum it up, twists the fur into a knot, and spits it back out. HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK?!?!

The machine stopped charging and responding to tge app after 1month. Returned the defective one, let’s see what happens with this new one. When it was working, it did a good job.

This isn't my first Roomba, but I'm really considering it being my last. When spending over $700 for a vacuum it should be able to do what it is advertised to do. This vacuum constantly clogs so it never runs it schedule because it says "empty the bin" even though the bin doesn't have anything in it. It clogs before making it to the bin. The rubber brushes are also an issue. Mine didn't even make it 3 months and one of the brushes wore in half. It also leaves chunks of debris when transferring from my hardwoods to rugs. Not a good investment.

Works great. Makes you see how much dust and dirt you miss. Bin gets full way too fast though and shuts down unit. Bin will be empty but some pet hair will make the sensors say it’s full already

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Returned 3 days after purchase. Heaven forbid you have pets. It will clog up after about an hour, go home, empty half of it into the base of the machine, and then go back out, and get clogged in another 15 minutes. Even the self cleaning version doesn't fix this issue. We only had it clean about 700 sq feet each time, and it could NOT get it together. For reference, we have stained concrete floors, which should have been relatively easy to keep clean for as much as this thing costs.

Overall very disappointed and sold it on eBay only a few months after purchasing. It caused more issues than it did clean. Whether it be not vacuuming everywhere, not vacuuming my rugs at all, spreading more mess around than there was before, you name it. I do not recommend this product at all. Get a regular stick cordless vacuum instead.

This is the BIGGEST waste of money of 2020 for us. As a programmer, I can say that it is so poorly programmed that navigation is inconsistent, haphazard and you will have to keep your eye on this “cleaning robot” all the while it cleans because it WILL get stuck on the most ridiculous places. GARBAGE! I wish i had not spent this money. Go get a broom or a regular vaccum. Please.

The Roomba does a great job of cleaning the areas it goes to and is easy to empty and maintain, but the app is terrible and not being able to use the app render all the features of the Roomba useless. Everytime you open the app it says it needs to be updated, but when you click update it just goes to the app store and there is no update. Mapping won't work, can't schedule cleanings or setup no go zones. iRobot definitely needs to fix this app.

I had the roomba I7 WI-FI Robot, since 1 month after 2 1/2 weeks the vacuum began to make very loud noises.

Waste of money, it constantly gets stuck its hard to configure. If i could return it i would. I just sits now collecting dust

Cannot connect robot to the app. New ATT WiFi, new iPhone, no issues with any other household devices. Spent three hours following all online directions- no luck. Customer service doesn’t answer their phone. Will be returning this ASAP. For $599, this thing should easily connect to WiFi and their dedicated app, plus they should answer their phone.

Vacuums ok, but this is supposed to be a model with many features which do not work. Have been working with manufacturer for a month without resolution. They claim needs software update which they can't deliver. Every instruction they have given me in not capable of being done. They have now asked me to ship it to them. Very dissatisfied given the cost of this piece of junk.

This roomba shows that the bin is full all the time while it is not. It is pretty annoying.

I've owned quite a few robot vacuum cleaners over the years from the original Roomba to the Scooba to an awful device made by Haier. I was happy to see that iRobot had added house mapping tech to one of their products. Some of the earlier upper end Roomba's were exceptionally expensive and lacked this technology. I took a chance on the i7 and I'm very surprised at how far Roomba has come with these vacs. First, and most importantly, my i7 has not gotten stuck once. It's traversed every height difference, every electrical cord and every rug in my house. This in itself is a feat. The biggest problem so many of these have is that you set it up to clean, leave the house and 5 minutes later it's hopelessly stuck. You return to find it did nothing. This guy has not gotten stuck once. It cleans pretty well. It's picked up the dog hair, most of the stuffing from the toy my dog just destroyed, and every bit of dirt in its path. After just over an hour of cleaning, the dust bin is full. I know that this one has the optional bin dump base station, but if I had a complaint, it would probably be that it should have a bigger bin. The bin is rather small for its size.
