Can't believe how much dirt and dust this little machine picks up. Very thorough. I had an older version for 10 yrs. This works so much better. Very easy to operate.

I was very skeptical about this working for our needs, even though I am very techie, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our main level is about 85% wood, with carpet/rugs as the rest, and it does a great job. We returned the 980 because the i7 has a bigger battery that allows it to finish the whole floor without going back to recharge. We have about 850sq ft that it cleans (due to furniture, etc blocking the floor), but total sq footage is about 1,200sq ft. If you have all carpet, you’ll need the i7+ to empty out the dust on its own. It also makes straight lines back and forth.

Fantastic so far. Works as advertised. Completely mapped house after first full vacuum. We were able to name rooms and schedule different rooms on alternate days. Takes about an hour to cover 800 sq ft. We have all hardwood floors and few area rugs. I would not recommend for all carpet floors. Seems like it would put to much strain on machine if all carpet.

Works seamlessly. Very easy set up. Great app handles everything and it does a great job of cleaning.

So far this vacuum has mapped 2 floors very well seems to get everywhere it can, fills quickly tho, may have to get the storage tower

I was very skeptical and doubtful of Roomba. It was a lot of money but VERY worth it! the camera is GREAT as you can tell the Roomba exactly where to vac and it will show you a map of your house and show you where it cleaned and where had lots of dirt! It is SO NICE to come home to a vacuumed house every day, especially when you have pets! This thing picks up so much pet hair and dander that I have to dump the bin daily which isn't any problem for me, you can go and buy the self emptying canister separately later if you want it from my understanding.

I love my iBook. It’s truly remarkable in its capabilities. I do have some inexpensive carpets that shed a lot and this in not ideal. My bot also lost one of its green spinning things which grabs debris and I’ve never found it but these are replaceable. I wish I had nicer rugs, I think the bot would work much better but I’m totally impressed by its mapping and intelligence. The roomba mop is nowhere close to the vacuum.

I am glad I got this iRobot! It does pretty good on my floors and carpet! The only catch I would say is having to empty out the bin, but it beats using a bag and the more often I run the rumba the less dust and dirt I see! It works better as it has learned my house, the rooms, the different surfaces and does good. I am glad I don’t have to use an upright vacuum anymore. I get to schedule when I have the rumba clean and if I only want one room to clean and or certain areas, no problem!

Vacuum is fantastic, especially with dog hair. The nitpick would be the battery life, runs about 45min before needing recharged.

I just love my Roomba! It cleans really well. I really like how you can tell it to clean one or multiple rooms or the whole house. I am very pleased with it.

This vacuum is awesome. It does a great job at mapping and cleaning. I have a dog and two cats that have a lot of fur.

The vacuum does a decent job and the app is very easy to use. Need to make sure no shaggy rugs are down or the vacuum will get stuck.

It works OK but it’s very noisy and it bumps into a lot of stuff. If you have thick carpet it gets stuck and can’t get on top of it. Easy to clean. It gets in knowing when you get notifications on your phone that the vacuum gets stuck low battery or bin gets full. Or sometimes unknown air or it gets lost trying to find the docking station.

This was such a great investment! I was very skeptical to buy this, but we finally decided to dive in and we have not regretted it! We have a dog and a cat and it keeps the hair in control. My allergies have also not been as bad since we bought our Roomba (his name is Ramon) lol. My wife was very against this buy, but now is very happy we bought it. Setting up a schedule for cleaning I think is one of the best parts. Ramon just does its thing and we don't have to worry about it! WELL WORTH THE BUY!!!

The Roomba i7 is a must have! It's awesome to have clean floors even befoe I get home. I love that it maps my house out and knows exactly where to go.

I needed this many years ago. It cleans dust under the bed, gets corners, goes around the furniture. This little robot is amazing

So pleased with my iRobot. It learned the house so quickly, and does a great job on both our carpet and wood floors.

Picks up lots of dog hair so dirt container fills up often. Still mapping areas so it hasnt found its way back to charger. As a result of this, when battery runs down, it usually happens when it is a spot where it is hard to retrieve, ie under couch. I find it easier to remove some small tables or dining room chairs so can clean tight spots. Cleaning itself seems to be very good. Im still learning as is ‘Judy’.
